Ji Hyo lazily opened one eye and shut it back instantly due to the sunlight streaming through the window. Mumbling to herself about not closing the curtains the night before, Ji Hyo reluctantly tried to get out of bed to close them. It was then she noticed a strong arm firmly wrapped around her waist. Twisting her body to the side to get a better view of the person whose arm was on her, she then found herself face to face with a sleeping Daehyun.

Ji Hyo let out a small gasp as she admired her boyfriend’s angelic sleeping face. She stared at his long eyelashes that curve upwards and slowly let her gaze travel down his plump lips. Biting her lower lip, she shyly diverted her gaze to every other inch of his face, soaking in every single detail of it that made him so undoubtedly handsome.

“So much for sleeping on the floor,” Ji Hyo chuckled to herself.

She was referring to the fact that last night — after Himchan had shoved the both of them into Ji Hyo’s room — Daehyun had offered to sleep on the ground with his blanket and pillow while Ji Hyo slept on her bed. Daehyun must have had crawled into bed with her in the middle of the night. Ji Hyo couldn’t help but blush at how wrong that sounded to her.

“Yah! Don't stare at me!” Daehyun shouted all of a sudden as his brown eyes flew open.

“Arghhhhhh!” Ji Hyo let out a high pitched scream and literally scrambled out of her bed.

Daehyun let a loud, amused laugh escape his lips and lazily stretched his arms. “Did I scare you?” he blinked his brown eyes innocently.

Ji Hyo rubbed her sore back and rolled her eyes. “Kinda,” she retorted sarcastically whilst getting up from the ground.

Daehyun chuckled and planted a wet kiss on Ji Hyo’s cheek.

Ji Hyo bitterly pouted and made her way to the bathroom. Daehyun instantly grabbed her by her wrist and pulled her towards him in one swift motion. Ji Hyo’s back hit his hard chest with a soft thud. 

“You’re not really mad at me, are you?” Daehyun smirked as he whispered huskily into her ear. 

Ji Hyo giggled and lightly poked Daehyun's left cheek. “Pabo, of course I’m not mad at you,
 she grinned.

Meanwhile in the room next door . . .

“Youngjae hyung, wake up,” Jongup said as he lightly shook his hyung’s sleeping figure.

“Mhmphmfpfftm,” Youngjae buried his head into his pillow and mumbled sleepily. He was in a too-deep slumber.

Jongup, whose smile never once left his face, snatched Youngjae’s pillow from underneath his head, causing Youngjae’s head to land on the hard surface of the bed.

“Yah! Moon Jongup! Why did you do that for?!” Youngjae angrily shot up to glare at the younger boy standing in front of him.

“I had to wake you up one way or another,” Jongup shrugged innocently.

Youngjae groaned and ruffled his hair in frustration.

“Why did you stay up all night anyways, hyung?” Jongup asked as he rummaged his bag for a clean shirt to wear.

“I – I was waiting for Dae hyung to come back last night . . .” Youngjae replied his dongsaeng sheepishly. 

Jongup burst into guffaws and said, “It was pretty obvious that he was going to room with Ji Hyo, hyung-ah.”

“Y – Yah! Don’t la – laugh at me!” Youngjae stammered.

“Why did you ever bother to wait for Daehyunnie hyung?”

“Cause he’s my best friend and we’ve been roomies for as long as I can remember,” Youngjae replied in a nonchalant tone, as if it was common logic.

“Arraso hyung, I understand. I felt weird not rooming with Jun Hongie too,” Jongup nodded, flashing Youngjae a bright smile while looking for something in his bag. “Aha! Found my T-shirt!” Jongup said to himself as he made a beeline to the bathroom before Youngjae could even step foot in it.

“Yah yah yah! Don’t take too long!” Youngjae called out as he jutted his lip and puffed out his squirrel-like cheeks.

Jongup only laughed cheerfully.

“Oh! You're awake, Zelo-yah!” Yongguk marked as he stepped out of the bathroom whilst drying his pink hair with a towel.

Zelo couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight of his tough leader's hair color. It never failed to amuse him. “Nae, hyung,” he blinked a few times as a crooked smile formed on his lips.

“Good to know you actually woke up early for once,” Yongguk let out a low laugh along with his gummy smile.

“Where is Channie hyung?” Zelo asked as he furrowed his eyebrows together in confusion. He looked around and saw no sign of his second eldest hyung.

Yongguk shrugged his shoulders in response. “He must’ve disappeared in the middle of the night or something. Aish. That Kim Himchan,” he mused.

Zelo nodded in agreement. He lazily got out of his bed when something caught his eye. It was a note, none other than from their beloved Kim Himchan.

“Looking for me? Kekekeke. Remember the exciting thing I planned that I’ve been telling all of you guys about? No. Of course not. You people never listen to me — insert pout —” Zelo paused for a moment, confusion flittering across his face. Then his eyes shimmered. “Oh. He was pouting. Right, I get it.” Chuckling to himself, he went on reading the note, “Anyways, I have decided to put all of you to a treasure hunt. The teams are: Youngjae and Jongup, Daehyun and Zelo, Yongguk hyung and Ji Hyo. More instructions will be given to you all later.  Have fun! The winner gets a prize handpicked by yours truly — insert my awesome hair flip — from Himchan,” Zelo finished reading out the note.

He looked up to Yongguk.

“Treasure hunt eh? Well then, let the games begin,” Yongguk smirked.
