Months after months, as you were slowly forgetting Lay, Tao was always by your sides, cooking, playing with you, help you when you needed him, and you were getting closer and closer to him, without knowing it. until that night, when you were reading a book on your balcony, and saw him in the garden. he looked up to you and you smiled to him, then went downstairs to join him. you were sitting in the grass and looking at the sky. he took your hand and you turned your head

"Chanjae..." he started

"hmm?"

"do...do you still think of him?" if he asked you this question a few months earlier, you would have broke into tears and cry, but now, you just smiled and shook your head

"ani. it's the past. i'm forgetting him, day by day. soon he'll disapear, i'm sure of it." you answered and turned your head back to the sky

"then... Chanjae.." he started again and you once again turned your head but this time you felt his lips on yours. your eyes grew wide but you didn't move.

Why can't i move? why ... why am i smiling? am i ... enjoying him kissing me?!

You were shocked by your reaction and kissed him back.

Yes, Lay ...  i'm sure i'll forget you...

~~~~~ 2 months later ~~~~~

you were secretely dating Tao, to avoid explaining everything to the member and mostly to avoid fans' criticism. you learnt enough with Lay and didn't want the story to repeat itself.

You were cleaning your room when you saw a broken frame in one of your drawer. it was a picture of Lay and a girl, the same frame you broke when you were looking for your phone in Lay's room

Why is it here...?

you were ready to throw it but you saw a note at the back of the photo

"To my brother, please take care of you and come back soon. be strong and don't give up. heart... is weak... keep fighting, i love you"

there was some caracters you didn't understand since it was written in chinese, so you weren't sure of that

heart is weak? argh, i must be mistaken, my chinese isn't that great...

you then thought for a while and decided to go ask Tao. you went to his room and knocked

"yes?" a voice came from inside

"can i come in?"

"password~!" he cooed

"huh? what's that again? is it a game of yours ...?"

you heard him chuckle and open the door

"hello beautiful lady~" he leaned on his door

"oppa, i wanted to ask you something" you your lips, trying to explain the situation

"yah, don't do that" he suddenly said

"what" you asked innocently

"that ... that- nevermind, continue" he looked away and cleared his throat

"ah, right, what are the caracters mean?" you pulled out a paper cause you didn't want him to ask you about the picture

"huh? wae?" he looked at the paper "that's chinese" he said

"yeah, that's why i want you to translate it for me..." you said with a "hurry up" face

"yah, are you getting mad at me right now?" he chuckle and you shook your head

"your heart might be weak right now, but keep fighting against this disease" he translated it and you stared at nothing

Heart? weak? disease? ... Lay? What's that...

Tao looked at you wooriedly

"chanjae? are you okay? why did you want me to translate it? is someone ill right now?" he asked you but you smiled

"ani, i just saw that while reading a book and that was written in it and i didn't understand it, that's all." you lied

"Tao, we're going" Suho said, coming out of his room and putting on a hoodie

"okay" he replied

"where are you going~" you whined

"don't make that face please~" he took both of your cheeks and made you smile "that's better. we have a meeting with the managers about our Asia tour..." he said

Suho was standing there, watching you both

These kids... so affectionate with each other... just like real brother and sister...

he shrugs and went to the car first

"i'm going~" Tao said and removed his hands from your cheeks

"work hard~" you cheered him up and smiled

"ah, if you wanna go out, the new password is 1141" he said and went to the car, sending you a kiss

1141? why did they change 1241 to 1141...? could it be... They changed 12 for one to 11 for one because Lay left...? they really don't consider him as a brother anymore? But what's ore important now is... does Lay really have a disease...? Is it that serious?
