He left the room with a awkward "bye". there was no hug, no sweet words, no eye contacts, no skinship... and i already missed him. I looked at the lastest picture on my phone. and sighed

Lauren...

I saw the doctor from earlier walk in front of my room and i called him.

"Doctor!" he turned and came to me

"is there a problem miss?"

"emm, no, i just wanted to know... about the little girl... how is she...?" he didn't seem to understand me so i continued

"the little girl who has a heart disease ... you know? i think she's 5 or 6 years old? her name is Lauren" then he nodded his head and smiled

"we operated her, and she's good now. we found a donator at the last minute. it was very risky, but we managed to replace her heart."

"so... you mean ... she... she is..."

"yes, alive" he said and left.

i was shocked. She was alive!? she isn't dead or anything?! it was like a miracle to me. Life isn't that unfair after all? she gets to have a second chance. i smiled to myself and went to her room. her parents were at her sides, holding their hands and her hands

"thanks" she replied and we went to his room

"Myungsoo-ssi, wake up~" i said and he opened his eye

"oh! Chanjae... ssi..." it was very awkward

"you know... i remember when we were little..."

"what do you mean?" he asked

"we were in the same kindergarten and we used to always play together..."

he sighed and smile

"it's been a while ... bestie" i smiled to him

"yeah, it's been a while. sorry for-"

"stop! i don't wanna hear you say sorry! let's just do as if nothing happened and start a new story together"

he looked surprised but still nodded

"thank you" he said and we continued to talk for hours before IU came with our lunches

"time to eat!"

she placed a tray of food in front of myungsoo and gave me a sandwitch.

"you're not eating?" i asked her and she giggled

"we're sharing, don't worry" she said and starts to feed Myungsoo and also ate.

"of course, stupid question~" i sarcastically said and sighed to myself

"oh, Chanjae, i just thought about it, how are you with Lay? why aren't you together?" she asked

"ah, em... he had to practice..." i said and ate my sandwitch. the atmosphere became awkward when the nurse came in

"excuse me, Myungsoo-ssi, i just came here to inform you that you are discharged today" she bowed and left

"Woah! They let you out already?" IU asked him

"apparently... but i'm good. what do you want to do today, babe~?" he cooed and she hit her shoulder while glancing at me

"it's okay, i'll let you guys alone" i faked a smile and rushed out of the room, running in the familiar restrooms.

Myungsoo POV

Oh... did i offend her?

"why did she suddenly left?" i asked IU and she shrug

"anyway, what do you wanna do today?" i asked again

"hmm...~ i wanna go out! let's go to the amusement park!!!" she said excitedly and jumped on my bed. i couldn't say no when she was like that. i packed my things and we came back to the mansion. it was really hard for me to walk in there without reminding what happened here and there. i sighed and she took my arm with both her hands

"do you still want to live here?" she asked

"well, i don't have anywhere else... " i looked down

"you can come at my place if you want to?" she said that casually and i widen my eyes

"what? really?"

"hmm!" she fervently nodded her head like a little girl

"I live alone anyway~" she really wanted me to live with her?

"arasso" i said and left my things in the living room for now. we went to the amusement park

Your POV

I get out of the restroom and went to my room, sitting on my bed. i was so bored. and when i'm bored, i tend to think. and when i think, i think about Lay.

i sighed

Why can't i forget you? i forgot almost everything about my past, but why can't i forget you?

suddenly, he called me

"hello?"

"Chanjae! I'm almost here, ready to have some fun?"

"huh? what do you mean?"

"we're going to Lotte world!!" he seemed excited and i immediately smiled, forgetting i was supposed to break up with him...

"Chincha!!!?" then my door opened widely

"Ppali! we are late already!" Lay yelled, panting and sweating, still wearing his all wet T-shirt.

He ran from their practice room until here?

i ran toward him and we quickly ran outside. he called a taxi

"why are we taking a taxi? where's your car?"

"i didn't came here by car." he pants then took a breathe " we just finished the dance practice" he turned to me, smiling and still panting
