FLASHBACK

Minho POV

"Minho-ah~ hurry up!" my sister was leaning against my bathroom's door, waiting for me to go to a party. i combed my hair to make it perfect

"Yah, ppali, we're late already"

"ah noona! just because you wanna see your boyfriend doesn't mean i can't take my time to-"

"just hurry~" she was surely tired because i took 30 minutes just to comb my hair...

i went downstairs and she took her purse

"finally! you're worse than a girl, little brother!" she playfully ruffle my hair

"yah. noona... now i have to comb my hair again..." i said and were ready to go back to my room when she grabbed my arm

"ani! we're ready to go!"

"whyyyy~" i pout "at least let me drive. a man who's driving is really awesome..." i asked

"yah, you just had your liscence a month ago and-"

"and! i need to practice!" i winked, smirked and took the keys. i sat in the driver's seat and waited for her to sit on the passenger's seat. i heard her muttered a small "Aish, chincha, this kid~" before sitting and i started the engine.

while i was driving, she the radio and sang to the songs that were played until her favorite song came.

"Oh! Oh!!! do you know that song!? do you!?" she fervently asked, excited

"yes i kno-"

"HEY JULIEEEEET~  HEEEY JULIIIEEEEEET~" she cut me and practically screamed. i looked at her and she was now dancing

"I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU! *pointing at the side mirror* EVERY LITTLE THING YOU DO~ *plays with her fingers*" i sighed and chuckle. this song is indeed her favorite song...! as she was dancing and "singing", i saw the light turn orange so i went faster to avoid to stop because we were already late. normally, she would scold me because it was now red. but today she didn't have the time to do it: a car bumped into ours, and soon, i felt like the car was rolling over.

As i opened my eyes, i immediately looked at her

"noona! are you okay?! noona!"

she slowly opened her eyes and i sighed in relief

"noona, can you move? can you get out of the car?" i asked but she frowned, trying to move her legs

"ani. my legs... hurt too much..."

i limped over to her side and painfully kneeled, handing her my hand

"take my hand" she took it and i pulled her out of the car. she lied on the road because she was really hurt. she looked over me, then behind me, and whispered something inaudible for me, so i asked her to repeat and leaned foward to hear her better.

"Car... behind... you... go away" she said and i looked behind me. indeed,, there was a car, coming toward us at full speed, and it didn't seem like it was going to stop.

"noona... noona, don't worry, i'll bring you to the sidewalk..." i said and put one arm under her head and the other one under her legs but she screamed in pain.

"stop. go" she managed to say

"I promised dad and mom to always protect you.even if i have to die to protect you, i will." i said and once again tried to lift her, ignoring the pain due to my injury at my left leg which was now bleeding. tears started to form in my eyes, because i knew i couldn't save her. i couldn't even lift her...

"promises can be broken" she clearly said and looked straight in my eyes while talking. i couldn't talk anymore. what she just said shocked me.

"promises... are meant... to be kept" i tried to lift her but she struggled. i looked at her weirdly

"promises are meant to be broken! now go, pabo!" was she scolding me? now? when i was trying to save her life?

"ani noona! i'll-"

"Pabo!" she was crying "I love you" she said and pushed me on the side. that's when the car came and created another crash.

I saw her lifeless body lying on the road and her last words kept replaying in my mind

Promises are meant to be broken ... I love you ... Promises are meant to be broken... I love you...

That was a little bit of Minho's story to help you understand what he feels (or will) later on~ this is just the first half of what i've written before (before deleting it T_T) and because i couldn't sleep while thinking about that, i woke up and here i am! x) i'll update tomorrow ;)
