The ambulance came and took him to the same hospital as you. IU and Lay went with him. Chanyeol didn't want to beat him for his betrayal ... not yet. so he stayed at their house, thinking of how he will punish Wooyoung for everything he did to you. someone shout from upstairs and all the guys went up, in Woohyun's room.

"Guys, what to do with him...?" Kris asked

"right, we can't hit a disabled person" Sehun said

"call the police" Chanyeol said and everyone looked at him. it was the first time he didn't want to hit someone who hurt his sister

Woohyun was expressionless. they didn't how he feel, and he didn't want to talk. but one thing was certain : he didn't feel any sympathy for Wooyoung and that worried the guys. they called the police and thet took the both of them outside the mansion.

then Suho received a call

"hello? yes... what?! ... oooh~ i'm sorry, we'll be there!" and hung up "Guys! we're late for the interview! hurry up! everyone in the car!!! i'll drive!"

Sehun sighed "oh god... please don't let us have a car accident~"

"mwo?! what are you talking about?" Suho heard him

"well, hyung's driving is quite-" he didn't even finished his santence and the car was already reaching the 50kph, then 90kph

"that's what i'm talking about" sehun sighed in relief, happy to put his feet on the ground.

you were reading a book when someone knock on your door and opened it

"IU?" you yelled, happy to see her visiting you "What are you doing here?!" you asked her but she looked down

"yah, what's that blood on your clothes, whose blood is it, what happened, you're scaring me, come on, tell me" you panicked seeing your best friend covered with blood and ready to cry.

IU POV

FLASHBACK

we were in the ambulance, he was losing a lot of blood an i hugged him all the way here. he fell unconscious when they lead him to the emergency room. he needed blood, but mine is A and his is O... and i know only one other person with the same blood type: Chanjae

I know i shouldn't ask her that. he is the one who almost kill her twice, and she's my sick best friend, and she probably doesn't want to hear anything about him, and she'll certainly hate me forever... but I don't know why I want to save him?

Come on IU, you can do that. I said to myself and knocked the door

"Chanjae... i'm here to ask you a favor..." i still couldn't look at her in the eyes

"sure, what is it?" she didn't even hesitate before answering, gosh!

"I ... erm... I need a blood donor"

"WHAT?! YOU NEED MY BLOOD?! WHY?" she thinks i was the one who needed blood, argh, this is gonna be hard!

"no, i need your blood, for someone..." i looked at her since she wouldn't answer

"who?"

i sighed "Myungsoo"

Your POV

Myungsoo? why Myungsoo? isn't Wooyoung her boyfriend? he is the one who had to get hurt by my brother, so why does Myungsoo needs blood?

"did something happened to him?" i asked

She told me the whole story in a few minutes: how he took the stabbing for her, how he sort of confessed to her and how she really wanted to save him. I understood why she wanted to save him. She was in love with him, and she didn't even know it. I found it so touching but quickly came back to reality.

"then what are you waiting for?" i said and she looked at me with a 'what-are-you-talking-about' face

"hurry and take my blood! he might die right now! ppali!" i said and she cried while hugging me

"yah, it's not the time for that! quickly call a nurse!" i said and she nodded then got out of the room. she came in with a doctor, crying like there's no tomorrow, and fell on the ground, unable to stand up

"Yah, IU, what's wrong? doctor?" I asked, not understanding the situation

"Miss Park, I am sorry to tell you this but... it's too late" the docctor said

"IU~ come!!! let's play outside!" i asked her

"i don't want to" she looked sad

"oh? why?"

"this boy is scary. he keeps looking at me coldly, as if i did something wrong, and that's scary" she said while pointing at someone in the kindergarten

"really? Myungsoo is scaring you?" i asked and she fervently nodded her little head, so i went to him

"Myungsoo, why do you keep staring at IU like that? you're scaring her" i courageously asked

"hmmm? that's nothing" he just said and walked away

"yah! come back here! stop scaring her" i ran toward him and jumped on him, making the both of us fall, me on the top

"do you like her...?"

"Chanjae-ah, don't cry~ i'm here" Myungsoo said while patting your head just like your brother would "I know it's hard to lose our parents, because i lost mine too, but it's going to be fine you know? we can stay together and comfort each other" he said and aslo cried

~~~~~ 8 years ago ~~~~~

"Why are you leaving ?"

"I'm going to my uncle's house for a while but i'll be back Myungsoo-ya" i smiled to him

"you're going to come back soon?" he asked and i nodded

"don't dare to leave me alone, arasso?" he pout and i laughed at his cuteness.

that's right, as time passes by, people change. they may be looking at you weirdly, with an icy stare, but that's just how they are and we can't do anything about it.

"don't forget me Chanjae, i'll always wait for you, and i'll always be there to protect you, don't forget that" he said and hugged you before you leave for 8 years ... and forget about him

~~~~~ present time ~~~~~

Flashbacks kept coming to my mind and i cried so much. i don't know why i didn't remember that, he was my best friend back then, so why did i forget everything about him? he brought me up when i felt down, he knew what to say when i cried, he was the only one who really could understand me, he waited for me to come back for 8 years, and when i did, i wasn't even able to recognize him...

FLASHBACK (chap 1)

the shop was empty. so you could choose your shoes at ease. you dropped all of your bags next to the counter and started to take a few pairs of white sandals. then someone tapped your shoulder:

"excuse me, do you work here?" a soft voice said

you turned to see a handsome guy looking straight in your eyes, waiting for an answer.

"well?" he said coldy, a little bit impatient.

that shocked you. the way he could be gentle and suddenly become cold.

"n-no." you managed to say.

"hyung, you're scaring her..." a guy from behind said.

"hmmm?"

"your eyes."

"ahh!" he looked at you again but this time he was smiling and you could feel he was embarrassed. "sorry, i didn't mean to scare you" he continued, still smiling.

"it's okay" you replied. still amazed by his handsomeness.

"do ... do you not recognize me?" he asked,

" ... should i? did we meet before?" you replied, bewildered

"ah, no" he said, awkwardly "i'm myungsoo. Kim myungsoo, pleased to meet you ..." he said, raising his hand

"ChanJae! my name is Park chanjae! nice to meet you too!" you replied, shaking his hand.
