Lay POV

I was lying on my bed, my head full of questions.

What did I do wrong? Why is she mad at me? Why isn't she answering her phone? Why did she locked herself even if she just wanted to sleep? ...

I sighed and D.O called everyone for dinner. I went downstairs and saw Chanjae still hasn't wake up yet. it was kind of odd, she would always help D.O with the cooking or set the table. now she wasn't there. even if the room was filled with 12 guys, for me it was empty. there was an empty spot beside me. Chanyeol elbowed me and whispered

"bring her food to her room, and try to talk to her. you had to make a big mistake since she didn't even came down for dinner..."

i bit my lower lip, thinking of anything i did with her buut couldn't find any moments when i would hurt her... i knocked at her door, with the tray of food in one hand, but there was no sound. i tried to open the door once again but it was still locked. I then think of something: since our rooms were next to each others, our balconies were connected by a small hidden door. i quickly went to my balcony and peek at hers. i carefully walked at her glass door but the curtains were drawn so i couldn't see anything. i opened the door which was unlocked as always, and the room was dark.

"Chanjae?" i asked but she didn't respond and the room was really dark so i couldn't see anything.

Maybe she slept at IU's?

FLASHBACK

"what do you wanna do tomorrow?" I asked her while she was in the middle of teaching me medicine

"revising. w-why?" she was taken aback by my question

"I wanted to go out and eat, if it's okay with you? you won't be studying all day long, right?"

"aaah~ I can't! I have to go to IU's! it's been a while since we last had a girls night..." she answered and returned to her books "but next week i'm totally free" she said while reading and i smiled

"then it's a date" i said and she chuckled

END OF FLASHBACK

I called her and i saw her phone on her desk.

She didn't even take her phone?

I went toward the door to turn on the light when i tripped and fell on the floor, my head hitting her desk with a loud : BONG!

"AAAAH! SO PAINFUL!" I yelled and touched my head. I couldn't see anything but felt there was blood on my hand. I looked for the thing that made me tripped and reached it:

"CHANJAE!"

there she was, lying on the floor, lifeless, pale. I panicked and called everyone. they ran to us and all gasped.

"call an ambulance. HURRY!" i shout and Sehun quickly called the hospital.

"yah yah yah, chanjae, what happened... why are you like that, huh?" I didn't even know what i was doing to her, i knew she couldn't hear me but i still talked to her like a crazy man.

the ambulance finally arrived and brought her to the hospital. i went with her, not wanting to let go of her cold hand, just watching her eyes closed and a doctor speaking about things i didn't understand. the only thing i understood was: heart attack. and i was scared to death.
