It was getting late and IU still didn't came out from Myungsoo's room. You were sleepy and almost started to fall asleep when you heard Kris's voice

"Chanjae-ah~ sorry for not bringing you food today~ i'm really really sorry" he apologizes

Chanyeol's gonna be mad at me for not bringing her food...

"hmmm? food? what food? you had to bring me food?" you wondered

"pabo, you didn't eat?! Yah! ppali come with me!" he dragged you to the cafeteria and ordered something, then went to your table

Chanyeol's gonna get mad at me cause i didn't bring her food AND because she didn't eat... great...

as soon as he placed the tray of food in front of you, you lift your head and dig in

"wooow, you really were hungry..."

you didn't replied and kept putting food in your mouth, not caring if the sauce was dripping on the table. you were really hungry but after listening to the little girl's story, you lost your apetite... when you recalled your conversation with her, you stopped eating and Kris looked at you

"wae? you're gonna choke? shall i call a nurse?" he panicked and you shook your head

"it's just a sad story i heard" you said and continued eating, but then, out of the blue, you asked him

"oppa, are you close with Tiffany?" he spit his drink in the air and wipe his mouth, coughing a bit

"w-why are you asking me that?"

"hmmm, nothing, i just wondered... she told me about you..." you accidentally said

"What? what did she say?!"

you chuckle at his reaction

"tell me if you're interested in her first"

Interested? That's not the right word...

"i'm not!" he shout in a high pitched voice and you laughed at him

"just tell me!" he pleaded with puppy eyes but it didn't made any effect on you

"uh-uh" you shook your head

"but i told you i wasn't interested" he whined, and he was right

"why?" he startsn seeing you wondering "Is she?... IS SHE?!" he starts to shout again and you pout your hands on his mouth

"yah! we're in a hospital! calm down!" you whisper even though there wasn't anyone in the cafeteria at this hour

"okay okay, tell me." he said seriously

"fine~ she is-"

"YES!" he threw his fist in the air "i knew it! thanks chanjae! i goota go!" he hugged you and immediately left

Damn! What's wrong with them? why are they so eager to leave me?! am i that boring?

you shrug and continued eating until you saw the girl from earlier

"oh? what are you doing here?"

she didn't say anything and came near you

"can i eat with you unnie?" she cutely asked and you smiled

"of course, sit here... emmm" you waited for her to say her name

"Lauren" she said and stared at the food

"eat a lot Lauren!" you say and put more food in front of her and she giggled then ate.

Eat a lot Lauren, you will need a lot of courage later...

you sighed and ate too.

"hey, Lauren, can i take a picture of you?" you asked. you didn't want to forget her, her story, her eyes and her smile.

She nooded her head and you told her to go in front of the wall and she took the pose

"Waaah~ you're really pretty!!" I was surprised by her beauty. she was just a child, but god, she was beautiful.

Why does she have to go away? Why doesn't she have a second chance? Life is so unfair...
