Sunggyu was sitting on the kitchen island while Woohyun was all over his kitchen preparing the cake ingredients. It was the first time he's seeing his kitchen this cluttered. His boyfriend was baking a cake for his parents which he still didn't know why he had to bother with it.

"Tell me, why are we really baking a cake for my parents?"

"What why? You should bring something whenever you go to other's house for the first time. It's a nice thing to do." Woohyun answered.

"But no one brought anything when I introduced my ex-boyfriends to them. I told them no need. Why are you insisting in bringing one?"

"Because your ex-boyfriends aren't nice and I am." He rolled his eyes to Woohyun. So conceited.

"You could've just bought one. Why bother to make one when you can buy?"

"Babe what's the good in that? All those cakes sold at the bakeries and shops have the same tastes. Besides, this is more personal. And I bake delicious cakes." Woohyun said while he's continued mixing all the ingredients.

"How did you know how to do these all?"

"My mother was a pastry chef and she graduated from a culinary school before she had my brother. She resigned from her job and took care of us. Me and my brother always camped in our kitchen when she's baking and cooking."

"You can sing. You can cook and bake, You're good at your job. You can somewhat act. What can you not do?" He could see his boyfriend's ears suddenly becomes red.

"Stop feeding my ego babe. And I'm not that great as you think." Woohyun said shyly.

How could his boyfriend be so adorable when shy. Sunggyu couldn't help but swoon over his adorableness silently.

"I'm not feeding your ego dummy. I'm just telling the truth.”

Sunggyu continued watching Woohyun working in his kitchen. He was so natural and good on everything he does; he didn't even need to try hard. It made him wonder why Woohyun always so appeared so perfect in his eyes but his boyfriend will always say otherwise. Was it because of his own self-esteem? Was it low? But he seems so confident on whatever he does.

"What are you thinking? You're spacing out again." He didn't notice that Woohyun settled standing between his legs touching his face and with one hand on his waist. The proximity is giving him butterflies that he could never contain and stop.

"I was wondering why you always appeared as perfect to me but you always say you're not."

"Because I'm not babe. You only saw me as one because that's what you want to see. Sometimes you also have to look on my negative side." Woohyun moved his other hand to his waist.

"I know but I don't see one. Since we've met, you've been always like this. You’ve always been so nice.

"I'm not. I'm jealous. I'm impatient at times. I'm only patient now because of you. I didn't know anything other than singing, cooking, baking, and working. I'm lazy and I need someone to clean for me because I will never be seen touching any cleaning stuffs. I'm stubborn. And the lists go on. I'm also human same as you. I make mistakes, I made mistakes and will continue to make mistakes because I'm not perfect."

"So, you're implicitly saying that I'm not a good judge of character because I only see good things?"

"You are. I just don't want you to see me as someone who's always good at everything. There's more to me than what you see; and it's for you to find out and love me despite of those." Woohyun poked his nose.

"You're still an angel to me Hyun. And you're handsome." He pinched Woohyun's nose making him wiggle his head.

"Are you trying to kill me?"

"You're so dramatic. Go and finish mixing your cake and put it in the oven already. My electricity will spike up because you're taking so long to use that thing."

As he watched Woohyun get back to what he's doing, he realized that everyday, he's learning new things about him. Yes. He often sees him as perfect but he also knew that Woohyun has his flaws; it's just that it didn't matter to him. He would still love him anyway. The fear of being not ready to be in a relationship was slowly dissipating and he realized it more, that he wants this more than anything else. Loving Woohyun was the best decision he had made for the longest time.

After a while, Woohyun was back between his dangling legs and staring at him. He couldn't help but blush because he saw that Woohyun's eyes are full of love and adoration. He could easily get lost from his stares and it doesn't matter where it will take him.

His attention got back when Woohyun snapped his fingers in front of his eyes.

"Stop daydreaming babe. You're doing it too much."

"I'm sorry. Are you done?"

"No. But it's already in the oven. I'll make the frosting later. So, tell me now, what were you thinking this time?"

"Nothing in particular. Just realized that I'm learning so much about you everyday." He put his hands on Woohyun's shoulder who was slightly lower than he is because he's still sitting on the island.

"I am too with you. Are you ok now with this?"

"With what?" He asked curiously.

"With me being this near? Are you comfortable now?"

"Surprisingly, yes. I think I'm getting used to this already."

It was really a surprise for Sunggyu that he warmed up that easily in a week span. After that big blanket of awkwardness since they got together, it was way easier now to move and act around Woohyun.

"Thank you for trying."

"I should be the one thanking you. You never forced or pressured me with anything and you've been very patient with my skittish behavior."

"That's because I know what you need."

"You're like Dongwoo who always knows what to say and what to do. Maybe that was one of the reasons why I was easily drawn to you and loved you along the way." And it's Woohyun's turn to blush with his words. "Why are you blushing?"

"Because of you. Because of the way you're being honest. I never knew that you're like this and I love this side of you. I've always liked your bluntness. You're straightforward and you speak up your mind. But I like your honesty towards your feelings more." Woohyun said softly.

"I've always been honest on what I feel and on everything. Sometimes, I just need some push to say it."

"You're amazing and I love you."

"I know and I had you wrapped around my fingers already." He smirked.

Woohyun leaned over to him and peck his lips then smile, "I know."

The rest of the day was spent with Woohyun teaching him how to make the frosting and designing the cake. After, they rested and cuddled to pass time while waiting for the clock to struck at 6:00pm and to move and go to their family house.

Woohyun parked the car outside the Kim's residence. He didn't know why he suddenly became nervous and Sunggyu noticed it.

"Stop getting worried. My parents wont bite you." Sunggyu held his hand which was shaking a little bit because of nervousness.

"I know. I just need to calm a little bit and then we could go."

"Tell me when you're ready. And don't worry about them not liking you. They will love you. They will love everyone who loves their sons. But, hide behind me when we entered the door. Mom will be all over you and dad will threaten to gut you and feed your insides to dogs. It's his old lame speech so don't be bothered by it like Sungyeol who looked like a scaredy-cat when he heard that." The image of Sungyeol made him laugh and relax.

“Feeling better?"

"Yes. Let's get this over with.

Sunggyu and Woohyun walked hand in hand towards their house. Sunggyu made Woohyun hide behind him so his mother cannot jump on him right away. He held Woohyun's hand with his left and the cake with his right because he was very sure that the cake wouldn't survive with his mother throwing herself to Woohyun.

"Your mother isn't as overly excited as you portrayed her to be, isn't it?"

"I'm not exaggerating, just wait and see." Sunggyu pushed their house's french doors open.

"Gyu! My baby!!!" His mother shouted his name but she was walking towards Woohyun. He immediately blocked his mother before she can squish his boyfriend.
