Minzy felt like she was floating on cloud nine as she went about her day. Though the healing of various lycans did take its toll on her, the thoughts of Alpha Jiyong only made her stronger to keep going. "I think that's enough for the day," Beta Teddy cut in as Commander Tablo tried to show her another group of injured lycans. 

"I think I can help a little more," Minzy tried to say as Beta Teddy gave her a side ways look. "What?" 

He shook his head as he nodded at Commander Tablo, "Tell the group that they'll be first on the list in the morning." 

"Yes Beta," Commander Tablo said as he excused himself. 

"What are you doing," Minzy coughed a laugh. Beta Teddy didn't say anything as he nodded for the other lycans to take their leave as they began to walk back to the mansion. "Hey, I'm talking to you," she called after Beta Teddy. 

"Healer please, let it go," he grumbled. "It's getting late and you should turn in." 

She wanted to argue with him when her stomach grumbled. Placing her hand over her stomach she realized she had gone the entire day none stop. She had forgotten altogether to sit for a few moments or even eat. Pressing her lips in a thin line, she sighed as she apologized, "I'm sorry Beta Teddy please forgive me for my short comings." 

Beta Teddy softened up as they entered the mansion. He couldn't help but grin down at her, "If your short comings is being too helpful to others that you forget to take care of yourself then the rest of us are out of luck in finding the grace of the Gods." 

This made her chuckle as she shook her head, "Honestly it was because of selfish reasons I kept pushing myself to go." 

"Oh really and what would that be," he asked.

She shrugged as she made her way to her room, "I kind of told Alpha Jiyong yesterday that I think I love him?" 

He stopped at the entrance of her room as he tried to wrap his head around what she had just said, "Wait, how do you kind of tell someone you think you love them?" 

She groaned as she plopped onto the edge of her bed, "I don't know, but I did. It was an accident!" 

"Hmm...he kissed you real good then huh," Beta Teddy nodded impressed. 

Minzy in return scrunched her nose up at him before sticking her tongue out, "Maybe? But I'm just..." 

"Scared," Beta Teddy took the word right out of . 

Weakly grinning, she moved to glance out the window in the direction of the Crimson Crawler packlands. "I have all this power running through my veins. I've even met and attempted to embrace death plenty of times. But this...this is by far the scariest I'm going through."

Beta Teddy came to stand along side her, "Don't forget you've lived through a mate release. Surviving the impossible is scary ." 

Minzy turned to smile over at Beta Teddy, "We've both been through some scary haven't we?" 

"And we'll continue to live through them until the Goddess Luna is ready to accept her in her good grace," Beta Teddy grinned. 

Minzy grinned as she watched how brave the lycans of the dessert were. They had come together as a people to help repair their city both in cleaning up the mess as well as supporting one another. This gave her the energy she needed to tend to the wounded. Absorbing each and everyone of their pains and struggles, she had seen double the amount of people from the day before. Sensing Beta Teddy ready to intervene, she excused herself and shared words of encouragement to the lycans. "Tonight we will send those who have fought bravely and died off to the Other Side with a proper burial," she spoke to the lycans that all howled proudly. "Now let us all prepare our dead and ourselves for a night of celebration for we shall celebrate their lives!" Turning to move back into the mansion, she felt a bit light headed as she stumbled inside and was caught by Beta Teddy. 

"Are you alright Healer," Beta Teddy asked in concern. 

She grinned as she used Beta Teddy as leverage, "I'm fine. I just need to rest a while. Will you do me a favor and send my letter to the Moon Shine pack?"

"As you wish," he responded after helping her to her room. "Get some rest I will send for some maids to make you a bath later."

Closing her door, she turned and nearly lost her balance. Catching herself against the wall, she called out to Amethyst to help her make it the rest of the way. Shifting to her wolf, she took slow strides towards the bed and collapsed once she had laid upon it. Huffing in disbelief at how tired she was, she gazed towards the window and looked at the night sky. Grinning up at the stars, she let her heavy eye lids close. 

Minzy's midnight black dress flowed down to the ground with an elegant flower crown of white roses. Taking the single white rose in hand from the maid, she grinned as she walked out of the mansion and had Beta Teddy and Commander Tablo flanking each side. There was a hushed silence as the crowd bowed their heads in reverence as she walked down the aisle of lycans.

Passing each group, they started to follow behind the trio until they reached outside the city limits to no man's land also known as the graves of the forgotten. Stopping as she stood before the various lycans that lay prepared for their ascensions, there were rows of them. Many lycans, young, old, men and women all with their hands laying upon their chests with their eyes closed forever from this world and awaiting for the next door to the Other Side to be opened to them.

With a heavy heart, Minzy raised her arms and nodded as the lycans moved all around the grave to complete a circle. When the last lycan stepped in place to complete the ciricle, Minzy sighed softly as she began. "Tonight we honor our people. We were born of water and we will die by fire," she said as a torch was placed in her hand by Commander Tablo. Turning it to Beta Teddy, he lit the torch. Letting the flames flicker through the darkness, Minzy raised it into the air, "I Queen of these great and noble lycans that have fought a good fight release your spirit to the Other Side. May the Gods find favor in you and guide you to the next part of your life as your life does not end here. It is only but the beginning." Gazing about the lycans, she could feel just how heavy their hearts were. Turning her gaze up to the shining moon, she yearned for the Gods to hear her plea, "Please Gods and especially Goddess Luna, bless this ground which shall be known as a holy ground from here on out. This place shall be known as our men's ground, the place of remembrance. I offer this crown of white roses from my head as a symbolism that my crown is nothing without these lycans to hold it up."

Placing the crown onto the head of a young woman that lay eternally asleep. She then lit the burial table followed by rest of the lycans. Allowing the fires to surround each individual, she tossed the torch against the burial table and extended her arms out. Closing her eyes she focused on the burning light of the fire and let the thoughts pulse through her body. Sending out a wave of light to all those in attendance, everyone felt the comforting warmth of her light as Beta Teddy howled. This encouraged other lycans to howl along as they cried out to the Goddess Luna to care for their brothers and sisters in their passing. 

Minzy put on a smile as everyone started to celebrate the night away. Greeting and thanking everyone in passing, she decided to turn in as she made her way back to the mansion. It wasn't until she was in her very own quarters that she was able to drop the act. Making her way to her window, she watched the thick smoke from all the flesh burning. Gripping the window seal, she felt her heart so heavy as she began to tear up. A soft knock came at her door and she tried to push the sad thoughts away as she called for Beta Teddy to enter. "What is it," she asked as he entered. 

He bowed as he grinned, "You did wonderful Healer. This is the most unified I've ever seen them." 

"Really," she sadly smiled. "That's good to hear." 

Beta Teddy went quiet feeling that she was a bit off, "What is the matter Healer?" 

She shook her head as she gazed out to the smoke filled sky. "The sky is filled with smoke of the flesh of those who are no longer with us. Death seems to follow me wherever I go. The sad part is that it is always someone else that is taken and not myself." Going quiet, she looked down at her hands, "So many keep dying because of me..." 

"Healer," Beta Teddy called out to her before slowly moving next to her. "This isn't your fault, if anything you saved us. Not only those who are living but those who've passed on. Never had we had a proper burial to send lycans off. But you made that possible. You gave the people hope that even though they had left their respective packs, this is now their pack where they too can receive a chance at gaining their salvation. So be proud and continue to be that beacon of hope that our pack needs." 

Feeling the tears fall from her eyes, she grinned over at her trusted Beta, "I'm proud of everyone. It's just myself..." 

Beta Teddy placed a comforting hand onto her shoulder, "We are our own worst critique. Push those fears aside and live in this moment of hope. Everything will all work out, even for you." 

Turning, she couldn't help but embrace him, "Thank you Beta Teddy for your unwavering faith and hope you are to me." 

Stiff from such a reaction, he knew this was something to get used to serving her, "I...only speak truth and the truth is what will set us free." Holding onto him tighter, she was grateful for his wisdom, hoping that she could one day be as hope filled in herself one day.
