Minzy couldn't help but feel so nervous as she ran her fingers through her long hair. She wasn't so sure about the dress. It was cute, but she thought it over the top for a date. It was a earthy green sleeveless dress that was fitted on the top then flowy and sheer towards the bottom. Sighing as Bom finished up her makeup, she looked at little Jennie who clapped her hands together. "You look stunning," she squealed. 

Minzy smiled as she looked in the mirror and was surprised by all the glitter, "Um...maybe we should tone down the glitter?" 

Little Jennie pouted as she shook her head, "You can't wipe off the glitter! It makes your outfit pop!" 

"Yes Minzy, I'm actually grateful that Jennie suggested to brush some glitter down your neck and shoulders. You look like you just walked out of a fairy tale," Bom added. 

She knew that arguing with the dynamic duo would be of no use. They had their minds made up and it was final. "Thank you," she gave in. "I don't even know what we're doing for this date. For all I know we could be staying in and watching a movie." 

"You'll be watching the movie and he'll be watching you," Bom said as Jennie giggled agreeing with her mother. "Whatever it is I'm sure you'll both have a good time. If not you guys can try again on another date." 

"True," Minzy said as she stood on her feet to slip on the black stilettoes. Giving herself a once over, she felt her heart skip a beat at the sound of a knock on the front door. Jennie squealed in excitement as Bom nodded to Minzy to go ahead. Moving towards the door, she smiled as she saw Alpha Jiyong in all black slacks. "Hey."

Alpha Jiyong placed a hand over his chest at the sight of her, "You look breath taking." 

Minzy chuckled as she stepped out, "Are you sure it's not a little over the top? I have no idea if I dressed right for this." 

"Us together is right no matter what," he said confidently as he extended a hand out to her. He was so gentleman like opening the car door and closing it for her before coming around. As she was about to fasten her seat belt, he reached over. "Here let me do it," he said as he reached over her and buckled it all the while staying a breath away from her face. His starry eyes glimmered into hers, "You're so beautiful." 

She looked away feeling her cheeks heat up, "Thank you." As Alpha Jiyong drove, she listened to the soft music and stared out the window. Bobbing her head to the melody, she noticed that they were driving in an unfamiliar part of the packlands. It peaked her interest as she glanced over to him to get a wink. She grinned as she gazed back out the window and liked seeing all the beautiful greens of the trees, the tall grass, and nature in general all around. So entranced with nature, she didn't realize where he had taken her until the car came to a slow stop. "You brought me to a cemetary?" She was completely confused as he hopped out and opened the door for her. Being gentleman like still, he extended his hand out to her. Shaking her head, she felt way over dressed as she took his hand and let him lead her down a dirt path. It was when they stopped at the tall metal gates that it hit her. He was taking her to Luna Chaerin's grave. Hearing the metal bars creek open, she stayed unmoving as Alpha Jiyong tried to walk forward. Her heart began to pound and her legs began to shake. Hoping to slip through his grasp, he stopped to look back at her and take hold of her hand again. "I don't know if I should be here." 

"Are you going to let me break the news alone to her? She deserves to see the beautiful woman I'm with now," he gave her a sweet smile. "I know she'll love you." 

Minzy began to tremble as she shook her head, "Alpha Jiyong there's something I have to tell you." 

"What is it," he asked as he moved to stand before her. 

She felt the tears well in her eyes, knowing he would probably think she was crazy, "Luna Chaerin is a beautiful woman. Whether you know this or not, she loves you with everything in her even after she has crossed to the Other Side her love remains so strong." 

"I've felt it a lot recently," he coughed a laugh. "As weird as it may sound, I feel her love for me when I look at you. Just looking at you now with your mesmorizing lavender eyes and your deep green dress. It's like you're a flower plucked from the garden that was a gift to me." Holding her hands tightly for dear life, he placed her hands onto his chest to where his mark used to be, "And even saying it out loud I know that Luna Chaerin wanted me to find you. You the woman who came in like a whirling storm that swept me off my feet and gave me a run for my money. You, Minzy...you are the gift that I want Luna Chaerin to know that I will cherish forever and always." 

Minzy felt the tears fall from her eyes as she looked to the ground. She felt every word and knew he meant it. His words shook her to the core and she couldn't believe how everything seemed to be falling in place. "This is going to sound crazy," she softly said. "But I've met Luna Chaerin. Many times actually."

"What do you mean by that," he asked curiously.

She sighed as she pulled away, "I met her when I first came to the Crimson Crawler packlands. It wasn't until recently that she revealed to me who she was and her purpose for meeting me. She told me that she was your guardian angel." She watched as Alpha Jiyong began to tear up as she continued. "She was the one who helped me see what I needed to overcome to be able to come to you. She is the reason I'm standing here today." 

Suddenly she was taken in his arms and pulled tightly against him. She could feel him trembling as he held her and kissed the top of her head, "Minzy you just answered my prayers." Gently he moved to guide her through the gates. Walking into the quiet Alpha grave area, she noticed that Luna Chaerin was buried next to her father. "Luna Chaerin," Alpha Jiyong sniffled through his tears. "Look who I've brought. Seems as though you've been visiting her to make sure she is strong enough to handle me because I know I can be a handful some times." He sadly chuckled, "But I wanted to officially introduce her. Minzy is the mate that I have chosen and hopefully she will in turn choose to be with me. She is the answer to my prayers that I tried to ignore at first but now know that you are okay with. Please bless our union when the time comes." Turning to face Minzy, he smiled brightly, "The reason I brought you here is because we're past the young love games. We've both been in love before and this love I wanted us to start as open books. I want to accept you, all of you and that includes your past." Getting down on one knee, he gazed up at her with sincerity in his eyes, "Minzy let me please be your mate. Let me be the one to complete your soul as well as you mine." 

She was shaking with tears falling like water falls. To a lycan, asking someone in this way to be a mate was much more than a wedding proposal. What he was asking was something she thought she could only experience once and some lycans even live to never experience it at all. Nodding her head, she couldn't believe herself as she bent down and pressed her lips to his. Melting against his tender and gentle touch was all too overwhelming before she yelped from being swept off her feet and swung around. Laughing as she twirled around and was placed back on her feet, she couldn't help but gaze into the starry eyes that twinkled. "I can't believe this." 

"Believe it, this is happening," he said confidently capturing her delicious lips once more. 

Minzy was surprised that the date continued on. Driving back to the mansion, she was led towards the garden where she was in awe. It was lit with white lights and in the middle next to the fountain there was a table set for two. Graciously taking a seat, she smiled as Beta Seunghyun came walking in ready to serve them a home cooked meal. The surprise continued as Commander Dara came walking out to play the guitar as the two started to eat. "My goodness this date is magical." 

"I'm glad you like it," he said pleased by her reaction. "Now let's enjoy this meal that Beta Seunghyun has worked so tirelessly on." 

Grinning up at Beta Seunghyun who stood proudly, she dug in and enjoyed the delicious hot meal he had prepared for them. "This is so good," Minzy smiled over to Beta Seunghyun. "If I knew you cooked this well I would've ate a while back," she said referring to their first encounters. 

Beta Seunghyun bowed deeply, "I'm honored and humbled to see you enjoy a meal I prepared." 

Turning to Dara who continued to effortlessly strum her guitar, Minzy could have sworn the flowers were enjoying the music as they simmered in the night. Spell bound by such beautiful played music, she was caught off guard by Alpha Jiyong who stood up and held his hand out to her. Showing his pearly whites, he wordlessly asked for a dance to which she placed her hand into his. Moving up on her feet, she giggled as he spun her around and into his arms. Being caught in his strong hold, she fit comfortably against him as they swayed to the soft strumming of the guitar. "You look like an enchanted flower picked from this very garden with the way your lavender eyes are shinning up at me," he smiled down at her. 

"Thank you, Jennie was the one who picked my outfit for me," she matched his smile. "I honestly thought it was a little much." 

"No it's perfect, you're perfect," he said smoothly. 

Biting the corner of her lip, she turned to lean her head upon him. His gaze was just too strong for her as she felt her cheeks heating up. Quietly swaying with him, she tried to think of anything that could distract her until she listened to the soft thudding of his heart. It matched perfectly to the melody Dara was strumming. Grinning as she sought comfort in his heart beat, she was able to relax and enjoy the moment. When Dara's song came to an end, she pulled away to clap her hands and give Dara a round of applause, "You play wonderfully." 

"Thank you," Dara grinned as she excused herself leaving Minzy alone with Alpha Jiyong in the garden. 

Minzy stood watching Dara take her leave, smiling and thanking her to hear that it was quiet behind her. Turning around she was surprised to find Alpha Jiyong down on one knee. Raising an eye brow at him, she wondered what the hell he was doing. "Minzy I know this is only our first date, but I want to make my intentions clear to you right here right now. I want to promise myself to you and hope that when the time comes..." he paused to pull out a small box from his pocket. Opening it before her, it was a large diamond ring. "I hope that you will promise yourself to me as mates. But in the mean time, I hope you will take this ring as a token of us building to that promise." 

She coughed a laugh as she felt tears well up in her eyes. She thought it was so thoughtful of him to not push her, but in fact show that he was willing to wait. Walking towards him, she knelt down across from him and stared in those starry eyes that glimmered with so much hope. It was fascinating to say the least. This man who had endured so much before her and also because of her still held on to hope that she thought she could never feel again. But here she was as she cupped his face with her small hands and grinned, "I want to be able to look at you the way your eyes are looking at me right now. So I'll accept that token as a promise to you that I will try to build to the promise of being your mate." 

Squealing as she was swooped up into his strong arms and swung around. Alpha Jiyong laughed happily as he held her tightly, "Thank you." 

Minzy was all smiles as she waved good bye to Alpha Jiyong. Entering her home, she was too busy admiring the diamond that covered half of her finger to notice Bom who was awaiting her arrival. "How was it," Bom asked as she flicked on the lights. 

"Magical," Minzy breathed as she slipped off her heels and made her way towards the couches. Plopping down, she looked at the ring on her finger and smiled. 

Bom on the other hand was up on her feet and taking hold of Minzy's wrist. Wide eyed she lifted Minzy's hand to show Minzy as if she wasn't aware of the sparkling gem. "Did he give this to you," Bom asked as if she was alarmed. 

"Yes he did," Minzy coughed a laugh at Bom's behavior. "Why?" 

"," Bom cursed under her breath. "Why would he do that," she hissed in disbelief.

Pulling her hand away, Minzy felt a bit hurt that Bom was reacting in such a way, "What do you mean Bom? Tell me what is wrong." 

Bom sighed as she shook her head, "He can't just give you that ring, that ring is earned. That is the Luna ring passed on from generation to generation." 

"Okay..." Minzy said, needing more information. 

"In our pack you must go through a series of trials and if they are passed then you are to face the people. The people of our pack must deem you worthy in order to wear that ring. So if you are caught with that ring on it will create chaos on our packlands as you and Alpha Jiyong will have to answer to the people either by some horrible sentence even death," Bom grimmaced. 

"Oh, I see," Minzy frowned as she looked at the ring that fit so perfectly. Reluctantly removing it off her finger made her feel uneasy as well as her wolf that encouraged her to put it back on. We'll just kill anyone that opposes us, her wolf reasoned. "No, it's not that simple," Minzy scolded her wolf. "It never is."
