“It’s the wrong colour.”

Staring at you and then back at the freshly painted walls, Seo Joon frowned. “It… it is?”

“I don’t like it,” you stated with a sigh, pouting at the colour.

Seo Joon hesitated before continuing. “You chose it though.”

“I didn’t choose this colour,” you corrected, picking up the paint chips on the windowsill and held one up against the wall. You pointed to the one just below the colour circled –the one you had originally chosen. “This is the colour I chose.”

“Right,” he commented neutrally, looking at the suggested colour and the one on the walls. He didn’t want to tell you that he couldn’t see a stark difference between that shade and the one he had just put two layers upon the bedroom walls. And whilst the room was smaller than the one you had both made over last year when you bought your first home together, it still had taken him two days in here.

Glancing in your direction again, his eyes lingering over your protruding stomach, Seo Joon let some of his frustrations dissipate. Sure, he had worked hard. But so were you growing his child. And you had certainly been at that for months now, not mere days. Smiling as he came over to your side, Seo Joon pointed at the new paint
