Your POV

 I woke up around 9 AM, it was sunny and warm outside. I stood up from my bed and walked to the veranda. Jeju’s fresh air welcomed me.

How refreshing. I wonder if the others are up.

I got a pair of shorts and an orange tank top and headed to the bathroom.

I went out of my room and discovered that Jaejoong already ordered room service. He attached a post it on one of the glasses.

Morning, wifey. I’m at the playground with the guys.   –Jaejoong

Playground? I shook my head in amusement.

I sat down and took one of the bagels. I noticed that he placed the kimchi and other dishes aside. So he did remember about my aversion to chili.

I went down and went to the hotel’s grounds. On my way down I saw Donghae and Khun oppa walking together to the breakfast lounge. I gave them both a wave and exited the place.

“You guys are here.” I said as I approached them.

Juns oppa was getting rid of the sand in his shoe.

“Good morning Inhee.” Yunho oppa said.

“Morning oppa.” I smiled back.

“Did you eat breakfast already?” Jaejoong asked as he hugged me.

I raised one brow. He’s being strange again.

“Yeah I did.” I replied steadily.

“Good, it was just room service, I didn’t want to wake you up.”

“It’s okay, anyway, are you guys done playing?”

He let go of me, he was grinning mischievously from ear to ear.

“What?” I took a step back.

“I have something to show you.” He smiled as he pulled me away.

Narrator’s POV

“We’re jet skiing?” I echoed.

Jaejoong was getting us some life vests.

He nodded and helped me were my life vest.

“But….but…. I don’t swim well…..” I muttered.

“Don’t worry, I wont let you fall in the water.” He smiled.

“I wonder where Inhee went.” Bom said as she and Khun walked out of the hotel.

Seunghyun, Chunji and Donghae were behind them talking.

“I saw her earlier with Jaejoong.” Khun said as he eyed the beach.

“Oh….really?” She glanced at Donghae briefly.

“You’re up to something again, Bomcorn?”

She laughed.

“Ani, it’s just that……”

“Donghae, huh?” Khun said.

“Wow, golden boy, you’re so smart.”

“Does he still like Innie?” He asked.

“I have a strong feeling about that too. I think he does. You know they never really had a clear break up.”

Khun nodded.

“Isn’t that Inhee?” Seunghyun pointed to the water. They saw couple riding a jetski. The lady had her arms wrappe around the man’s waist tightly. Both of them were having a good time.

Donghae followed Seunghyun’s gaze.

He saw Inhee laughing with Jaejoong. He didn’t like the way she hugged his back. His eyes widened as Jaejoong leaned his cheeks on hers.

“It’s been a long time since I saw noona smile like that.” Chunji commented as he took out his camera and took photos of the couple.

“Jaejoong hyung treats her well.” Chunji said and smiled at his sister.

Donghae looked at the two. He sighed and continued walking.

Jaejoong’s POV

Inhee was still smiling as I helped her get off from the jet ski.

“That was fun.” She grinned.

“That was my peace offering.” I grinned back as I helped her with the life vest.

She scoffed playfully.

“Oh, Chunji-ya!” She called and waved over to her sibling.

I saw Chuji wave back.

“Go ahead, I’ll just fix some things here.” I said.

“It’s okay, let’s go together.” She said as she brushed some hair off my face.

I felt my heart go crazy in my chest.

“Noona, have you eaten?” Chunji asked as we walked towards them. I felt Jaejoong’s hand on mine.

“Yeah, I did.” She replied.

“You finally persuaded her to ride and jet ski, I applaud you, Kim Jaejoong.” Bom commented.

“Ya!”

“Oh, fishy, you’re here.” She smiled at Lee Donghae. He looked up at her.

“I…need to go.” He said and stepped away. Inhee looked at him as he walked away.

“What’s up with Donghae hyung?” Chunji asked.

Inhee looked at me, she gripped my hand once and ran after him.

“Ya—Ho Inhee!” Bom called.

I watched her as she ran after him. Is she attached to him in a special way?

Your POV

“Ya, Lee Donghae!” I yelled after him. He finally stopped and faced me.

“What do you want Innie?”

“I’ve been calling after you for a long time, were you ignoring me?” I asked.

He looked away from me.

“Is something wrong?” I asked in concern. He burrowed his brows slightly.

“You lied to me.”

“….What?!”

“You told me that….you only married him because of duty.”

“I did.” I replied.

“You love him, don’t you?” He asked.

I was stunned by his question. How did he know? Did Bom…no it cant be.

“Donghae…I~”

“Just tell me the truth Inhee!”

“Yes, I love him.” I replied while looking down.

“So, I’m nothing to you now?”

“Aniya, it’s not like that, you’re Donghae, you’re one of my trusted friends.”

“I want to be your man again, not friend.” He took both of my hands in his.

I froze.

“I’m sorry, Hae. I love Jaejoong.” I gently took my hands away from him.

Narrator’s POV

“Jaejoong-ah, let’s have a talk.” Bom said gently.

They both sat down on one of the benches.

“You have a lot of questions about Donghae huh?”

Jaejoong nodded.

“Two years ago, they were dating. They were a perfect couple, people expected them to get married.”

Jaejoong’s brows furrowed. So Inhee did have a special attachment to him.

“They were happy until….Jaebum.” Bom said meaningfully.

Jaejoong nodded.

“After that, Inhee was totally down, she didn’t come out of the house, and she wouldn’t let anyone come near her. Only Donghae was able to talk to her that time, but she sent him away.”

“…..Why?” Jaejoong asked, at loss for words.

“Inhee told him that he should leave.”

“….That’s it?”

Bom shrugged.

“Does Inhee still like him?” Jaejoong asked. Bom turned to him.

She patted his shoulder.

“That’s for you to find out.” She stood up and walked away.
