One afternoon, Seulgi is hanging out at Red Velvet Café with Wendy and Joy. There aren’t many customers so Irene isn’t that busy. Krystal is cleaning the vacant tables and Jaehoon is sitting by the counter. Suddenly, he stood up and walked over to the piano that’s placed in the corner of the café. He opened the lid and started pressing some keys and singing along.

           After Jaehoon finished playing, all the people in the café applauded him very well.

“Well, what do you know? He has some talent in him after all.” Wendy commented.

“He looks so cool playing the piano like that.” Joy her fangirl mode.

“I guess he is.” Seulgi just smiled.

           But then, a girl around their age suddenly went inside the café.

“Jaehoon-ah!” The girl ran up to him and hugged him.

“Hey… You’re acting as if we didn’t see each other for a long time.”

“Why? You don’t miss me?”

“Of course I do. You’re too annoying not to be missed.” Jaehoon said as he ruffled her hair.

            Wendy noticed Seulgi staring at Jaehoon and the girl. They couldn’t hear what they’re saying because they’re pretty far from them.

“Are you jealous?” Wendy asked Seulgi.

“What?”

“You’re staring at them for a while now.”

“I think I saw her already. I just can’t remember where.”

“She goes to our school unnie. She’s the same year as you and Wendy unnie.” Joy said.

“What’s her name then?”

“I don’t know unnie. Try asking your classmates.”

“No thanks. She might think I’m a stalker or something.”

            Seulgi kept on staring at them while they were talking. Wendy and Joy exchanged knowing glances and decided to keep their mouth shut. The girl went to the counter and greeted Irene, before she went to the back and wore an apron.

“So, is she a new employee here?”

“Who knows? I only know Jaehoon and Krystal working here.” Wendy shrugged.

            Wendy smirked when she thought of an idea. She whispered it to Joy and they both smiled evilly.

“Miss? We would like to order something.” Wendy called for the girl.

“Yes? What would you like?”

“One Iced Americano please.”

“Okay. Please wait for a few minutes.”

“Thanks.”

            Wendy scrunched her eyebrows when she noticed that the girl isn’t wearing a name tag. Her evil plan with Joy failed. The girl came back carrying Wendy’s order.

“So umm… Are you new here?” Wendy asked the girl.

            Seulgi gave Wendy the “what-the-heck-are-you-doing” look. The girl just smiled before answering.

“Nope, I just don’t come here very often.”

“I see. What’s your—“

“Oops, gotta go… See you later!” The girl ran back inside.

            The trio stayed until closing hours as usual. When it was time to go home, Wendy insisted on accompanying Seulgi to her apartment.

“Seul, do you want me to come with you?”

“I’m fine. I can manage.”

“But it’s dangerous to walk alone. You might get in trouble.”

“I’ll call you when that happens.”

“Okay, if you say so. Be careful, alright?”

“Yes mom.” Seulgi joked.

            They went into different directions and headed home. While Seulgi is walking, someone suddenly talked behind her.
