‘Are you done packing?’

‘Yea just need to pack the chargers and toiletries.’

‘Please be careful since I won’t be there.’

‘I know babe, I’ll stay close to the managers. Don’t worry.’

“Video call me once you are done with rehearsal.”

I replied the text message, “Will do but it might run late.”

“I don’t mind, I don’t have anything to do.”

A few hours later.

‘Hey how was the rehearsal?’

‘The usual.’

‘As expected the queen of one shot. Are you nervous for the special stage?’

‘Not really.’

‘I saw the short clip you sound great as always. Did you eat?’

‘Yea at the venue.’

‘Tired?’

‘A little bit. How’s prince and princess?’

‘Erm… they are asleep now. They did whine looking for their TaeTae.’

‘Aaawwww… one more sleep I’ll be home.’

‘That’s a cute outfit, I saw it on snapchat.’

‘What, this? I think you bought this for me.’

‘Yea I think so too; I think that’s why I buy it.’

She yawns. ‘So what have you been doing?’

‘Well… the filming of the MV is done, oh yea I’m meeting up with the Unnies for dinner tomorrow, the wrap up party.’

‘Oh... be careful. Say hello to them for me. Oh, Oppa tells me that Jonghyun invite me to his concert.’

‘When is it?’

‘Tomorrow night.’

‘Will prince and princess be ok alone?’

‘It should be fine. It’ll only take 4/5 hours. I’m gonna go to sleep. Goodnight, love you.’

‘Sweet dream, love you too.’

The next day

“Video call me once you are done with your schedule.”

“Sorry I don’t think I have time, now I’m on my way to the airport. TTYL.”

I arrive safely in front of the apartment, key in the code and get in. I see her standing on the doorway leaning against the wall.

‘Why are you up? Did you text the manager?’

‘No, I counted the hours and set my alarm. Congrats babe you won an award. So, proud of you.’

‘Thanks. Let’s go back to bed.’

We walk hand in hand to the bedroom as I drag my luggage with my free hand.

‘Go change babe, I put your big t-shirt on the back of the bathroom door.’

‘Thanks. Ok, I’ll be out in a few minutes.’

After a quick change, I wash my face. I go back out and she’s already settle under the blanket. I get under the blanket, position myself sideways, looking at her. 'Thanks for charging my phone.'

‘No problem. What happen to the special stage Tae?’ She fixes my fringe.

I close my eyes. ‘They decided to cancel it at the last minute.’

‘You want to talk about it?’

I shake my head. ‘Not right now.’

‘Ok. Sleep.’ She kisses my forehead. 'Love you.'

'Love you too babe.'
