They stared at each other for a while. Sooyoung is staring at every part of Jessica’s face from her eyes to her lips. When her eyes landed on Jessica’s lips, Jessica’s heart beats even faster. Sooyoung can’t take it anymore and started leaning forward. Jessica closed her eyes. But before their lips touched, Jessica suddenly backed off.

“Oh my God!” She ran to the toilet bowl and vomited.

“Thank God you didn’t puke on my face!” Sooyoung shouted across the room then laughed.

Jessica came back and sat in front Sooyoung. She looked slowly to Sooyoung who is smiling widely. “Sorry.” Then, she looked down again, embarrassed. In her mind, she keeps thinking of the should-have-been kiss and she hates herself for vomiting at the wrong time.

“It’s okay.” Sooyoung came closer and Jessica’s hair. “Are you feeling okay now?”

Jessica nodded, still looking down.

“Hey, don’t be embarrassed. Sometimes people puke when someone is about to kiss them.” Sooyoung laughed at her own statement.

Jessica punched her arm.

“Awwww. That hurts.” Sooyoung cried out.

“You’re mean.” Jessica said.

Jessica stands up and walks towards the door when she felt Sooyoung’s arms around her waist. “Sorry. Just a little frustrated that I didn’t get to kiss you.” Sooyoung said. She has given up trying to control herself when it comes to Jessica. It’s hard to hide your feelings when you see that person everyday.

Jessica was surprised when Sooyoung backhugged her. She couldn’t believe it. It feels right and that’s when she first admitted to herself that she likes Sooyoung. She hold Sooyoung’s around her, making sure that she doesn’t let go any moment now.

“So do you have an answer for my question earlier?” Sooyoung whispered in Jessica’s ear causing a shiver to Jessica’s body.

“What question?” She asks softly.

“You like me, don’t you?” Sooyoung whispered again.

“Your question doesn’t give me many options.” Jessica said, thinking if she should say it now.

“We don’t need too many choices. Yes or no?”

“What do you think?”

“I was hoping you would say yes.” She hugs Jessica tighter now.

“What if say yes?” Jessica asked.

“We’ll see.” Sooyoung said playfully.

“What if I say no?”

“Then I would go talk to Tiffany.” Sooyoung is just teasing Jessica because acts too cute when she’s jealous.

Jessica tries to release herself from the hug but Sooyoung did not let her go easily. “I’m just kidding.”

“I want to hear it from you first.” Jessica doesn’t want to be the one to confess first.

Sooyoung gave in. “I like you, Jessica Jung.” Jessica’s face curved into a smile. She tilted her head so she could see Sooyoung. She peck Sooyoung on her cheek. Sooyoung was taken by surprise and her grip on Jessica loosens. Sica saw this as an opportunity and ran away from Sooyoung while laughing.

“About your question, I still don’t have an answer!” Of course Jessica already has an answer. She just wants to tease Sooyoung more.

“You’re unfair, Jessica Jung!!!” Sooyoung pouted after she was left alone on Jessica’s room.

Sunny is cleaning the living room, wiping dust off of the appliance. As for Hyomin, she’s hiding by the door watching Sunny from afar. Then when she finally find the courage to face Sunny, she entered the living room while whistling a random song.

Sunny glanced to check who it was. When she saw it was Hyomin, she continued on what she was doing.

Hyomin spoke up first.

“Do you remember that time in high school…”

“When you embarrassed me in front of the whole school?”

Hyomin keeps quiet.

“Or is it when you humiliate me in front of everyone? Oh wait, it is the same thing. Sorry, it is my only memory of you.” Sunny fired back.

Hyomin doesn’t know what to do. She feels guilty because it is true that she bullied Sunny back then but she only did that to get her attention. “I’m sorry.”

Sunny looked at Hyomin in the eyes. “Isn’t that apology too late overdue buy now?!”

“I said I’m sorry. I can’t take back all the bad things I did to you but ‘m sincerely apologizing right now. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

Sunny said nothing.

“What do you want me to do so that you could forgive me?”

“I can’t think of anything. I guess there’s nothing.”

Hyomin thinked hard and this is the only thing that came to her mind. “I can be your slave for a month.”

Sunny doesn’t seem to be convinced.

“You can order me around and I won’t complain.”

“Are you sure you can do that?”

“Just promise me you’ll forgive me after that.”

“Okay then. You’re officially my slave.”

Hyomin jumped for joy knowing that in one month’s time she would be forgiven. Even if she’ll be Sunny’s slave, she doesn’t really care about it now as long as she can be with Sunny all the time. “So what do I do now?”

“Just stay away from me today. I don’t need you here.” Sunny said bluntly.

Hyomin walked out of the room disappointed. Then she’s talking to herself again.

“What kind of order is that? Stay away from her?! That is the hardest order she can ever give me.” Hyomin pouted.

“Talking to yourself?” Sooyoung said as she walks the last few steps of the stairs.

“You wanna know something?” Hyomin said excitedly.

“What is it?”

“I’m Sunny’s slave for one month.” Hyomin said it so excitedly that Sooyoung looked at her weirdly.

“And you’re happy?”

Hyomin nodded her head repeatedly.

“Okay.”

Sooyoung left the hyper Hyomin by the stairs. Hyomin sat on the last steps waiting for Sunny to finish cleaning.

Jessica and Tiffany were laughing so loud in the dining room. They have a lot to catch up since they haven’t seen each other for years now. They laughed at each other’s stories and they forgot that they like the same girl.

“You didn’t tell me you got engaged.” Jessica told Tiffany.

“It was not something I’m proud of. My mom just forced me to say yes when he proposed.”

“So you didn’t love him?”

Tiffany shakes her head. “Not even for a bit.”

Jessica laughs. “It’s funny because I didn’t think you would like a girl ever.”

Tiffany laughed with her. “I didn’t expect it too. Well, how about you? I didn’t also expect that you would like a girl?”

“Huh? What are you talking about?”

“We like the same girl, right?”

“Sooyoung?” Jessica asked trying to asked innocently.

“Yeah, I mean, you like her, right?”

“I’m also curious myself.” They both turned around and see Sooyoung. Tiffany smiled to Sooyoung while Jessica is too nervous to smile.

“Just go on. I’ll just be here. I won’t be listening.” Sooyoung is still smiling like a fool.

Jessica stuck out her tongue to Sooyoung. Sooyoung stuck out her tongue to Jessica too.

“Okay, it’s time to eat!” Tiffany breaks their secret world.

“Eating time!” Sooyoung shouted.

“Shikshin.” Tiffany and Jessica said at the same time.

Sorry for the cliffhanger last chapter, it's just so fun to write.hehe
