                Luhan’s been sneaking glances on Kris the whole morning. He can’t help but feel obliged to look after his dearest friend when he’s being unlike himself. He’s seen all of Kris, as in all. For all the years that they’ve been together, he knows the meaning of every gesture that Kris makes. But this feel around his bestfriend, it’s new. He can’t tell if this is something good or something bad but all he knows is that he’s got Kris’ back. This is the least he could do for the guy who has been with him through all his ups and downs. He chuckled at his cheesiness.

                “Do I get to hear the joke?” Kris looked up from his phone with that almost permanent gummy smile on his handsome face. Kris has his fair share of smiles but as his reputation goes, he doesn’t smile a lot. Lately, his bestfriend has already reached his quota for smiles for a year. Luhan feels relieved but he’s also worried. He’s not sure on how Kris is feeling. Does he really like that giant idiot or is he just riding the feeling of having lesser people minding his business?

                “I’m just thinking about how you were always bugging me to shower with you…” Kris wrinkled his nose.

                “Okay, okay. If you don’t want to share it, just say so,” Mr. Perfect returned to minding his phone and he’s smiling, again. Luhan hears the gossips, the small talks, the speculations and the unsolicited opinions from the people who Kris doesn’t give a damn to and it made him worry more. He doesn’t want Kris to get hurt but he doesn’t have the heart to pass the hurt to Chanyeol. The guy did nothing wrong except be named as Gem High’s Mr. Stupid.

                “Kris, do you like Chanyeol?”

                “He’s funny and I think he’s a good person so yeah,” that little blush didn’t escape Luhan’s scrutinizing eyes.

                “That’s not what I meant. Do you like him enough to hold his hands, take him out on a date and kiss him?” Kris’ little blush crept on his cheeks and to his ears. Luhan smirked. He never knew Kris would be liking boys. So what if he knew? Would he have fallen for his bestfriend? “Ewww.”

                “Whatever you’re thinking, it better be not about me, Lulu,” Kris warned under his breath. They both jumped when the lunch bell rang and they both ended up smiling softly as they looked forward to the people who’ll be joining them at lunch. Luhan’s phone buzzed and it showed a message from Jongin. ‘The kid wants you off his back >:)’

                “You’ve got to be kidding me,” Luhan’s nostrils flared. He’s not reading what he’s reading. That’s just not possible. Nobody, nobody rejects Luhan. Ever.

                “Something stuck in your ?” Kris shoved him playfully but he threw him a burning glare. Kris took a step back. “Luhan, what’s wrong?”

                “He’s got guts! He doesn’t know who I am. I am Gem Twins’ flower boy next door prince. Many people would kill just to get my number and he wants me to leave him alone? I’m not that desperate! Who is he anyway?” Luhan seethed. He’s that handsome, straight-faced ivory tower with fluid-like seducing moves. He’s effortlessly swoon-worthy. And he’s the first and only person who doesn’t want me.

                “Luhan, Luhan!” Kris shook his glassy eyed bestfriend. He’s trying hard not to cry but the way that he bit his lower lip means that he won’t hold out that long. It doesn’t help that the other students are stopping and staring at them so Kris pulled Luhan towards the back of their building which is secluded during this time of the day. “You’re worrying me. Talk to me, Luhan.”

                “I don’t need him.
