                “Kris, where are we going?” if Chanyeol could wish to be at some place at the moment, it will be to where he is right now, hand in hand with a smiling Kris but he’s still curious as to why Kris is tightly holding his hand, though he’s not complaining.

                “You’ll see. We’re almost there,” Kris replied with a huge grin plastered on his face. Even considering his nervousness, this felt right. They are heading to the basketball court where Kris had been earlier. This place now holds an important part in his life. This is where he realized how big a part Chanyeol is in his monotonously boring life.

                “Are we playing? Are you sure? I might fall over you,” Chanyeol cringed at the high probability of that to happen.

                “I want you to fall…” Chanyeol felt confused. “I want you to fall for me,” Kris regretted it as soon as those words came out of his mouth. It sounded so cheesy and stupid and he felt more ashamed when Chanyeol started cackling.

                “I didn’t know you had it in you to throw a pick-up line. I got to say that it’s not that bad,” Chanyeol is holding his torso to control his laughing fit. It’s rude to laugh on people’s faces but Kris Wu had thrown a pick-up line at him. He stopped mid-laugh. Kris said the pick-up line to him. “Oh.”

                “Can you just forget that I said that?” Kris tried to save his face.

                “I’m sorry,” Chanyeol apologized and the awkward air settled around them. “So, uhm, why are we here?” he became more aware of the warmth that comes from Kris’ hand on his. Then suddenly, he felt the warmth embracing him.

                “I’m sorry, Chanyeol,” Kris muttered and he can feel the other’s chest rumbling against his.

                “What are you apologizing for?” He tentatively raised his hand and put it on Kris’ back. When Kris didn’t react negatively, Chanyeol started to pat his back.

                “For everything.”

                “I don’t understand. We’ve talked already, right?” Chanyeol is starting to worry.

                “I just felt like I should apologize more.”

                “You don’t need to, Kris. Besides, we’re friends. Friends accept their friends no matter what or who they are.”

                “Park Chanyeol, I’m sorry but I don’t want to be your friend,” Chanyeol is baffled. Both of them had been okay after the dinner so why this? He doesn’t know what to do but he has to step back first. He pulled his hand back and pushed himself backwards but Kris only tightened his arms around him.

                “Kris, are you okay?” the other had been very, very quiet for about a minute though Chanyeol can feel he’s breathing.

                “I don’t know how to say this and get you to believe me,” Kris has never been this nervous in his life.

                “Try me,” Chanyeol was being pushed back gently and Kris has his hands on his shoulders. Those smoldering eyes made him blush a little but that was nothing compared to what Kris has said.

                “I think that I’m falling in love with you,” Kris had never felt so light in his life. Like a five-ton weight was lifted off his body and he’s like floating with the clouds.

                “Wh-what?!” Chanyeol is super sure that he is dreaming so he pinched his arm hard but it freaking hurt.
