Stupidly Perfect, Perfectly StupidJongin couldn’t believe what he has just heard. Did Kyungsoo really broke up with him? He watched wordlessly as the person who made him go back to his self walked away from him. He wanted to reach out and take him back into his arms but he can’t make himself move. Was that it? After all they’ve been through, this was it? Jongin chuckled darkly. He should’ve known. He has messed up the second time. Kyungsoo has already given him a second chance and he blew it.
Jongin felt so useless. He couldn’t even keep the person that he loves by his side. This is what happens always. All the people that he loves leaves him for more important things. Take his parents for example. They never stay put in their house. They always leave too early and they always arrive home too late to see Jongin and aski him personally about his day. His parents makes sure to check up on him regularly through texts and phone calls but his phone can’t hug him to make him feel loved.
The last summer, he had enough of his life so he ran away from his almost always empty house. He can’t truly feel his parents’ love because they’re almost never around. And he had found the sense of belonging with his friends but their sense of fun is not what usual teenagers should be doing. He was exposed to different kinds of vices and he has done them all in such a young age. He has detached himself from his reality and caged himself inside his own issues. He let himself get wasted away until a light pierced through his dark cage. The light came with sparkly, big and innocent eyes. Kyungsoo found him passed out drunk under a tree when he was giving up all his will to live.
“Hey, are you alive?” a short boy with big eyes was kicking Jongin to consciousness.
“Leave me alone!” Jongin yelled at the person who disturbed his sleep.
“For your information, drunkard, you are in our property and you are a trespasser. So if you don’t want to spend your day inside the prison, move your drunk off our property,” the other kicked Jongin once more. A little bit harder this time.
“What’s your problem, shortie?” Jongin sat up straight to glare at the stranger who’s starting to annoy him even though he’s cute. The next thing Jongin knew is that he’s clutching his throbbing cheek. Shortie has punched him real hard.
“My height is average! It’s not my fault that you people are abnormally tall!” shortie aimed another punch at him so to save his face from another blow, he caught shortie’s hand but they both lost their balance and soon, they’re falling to the ground. With a grunt, Jongin landed on his back and a weight slammed at him. He should’ve been in pain but the warm feeling on his lips distracted him enough. Shortie has landed straight to his lips.
“What are you doing?!” shortie demanded from him.
“I should ask you that. You’re the one on top and you could’ve planned to kiss me on our way down,” Jongin smirked and the blushing, wide-eyed shortie. He’s definitely cute.
“YOU PULLED MY WRIST! HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT YOU DIDN’T PLAN TO KISS ME THEN?” scary but
