                “Park Chanyeol, what are you grinning goofily at? Stop it, it’s really creepy,” Kyungsoo groaned as he walked side by side with his bestfriend who is being delusional for the last three days. He has been trying to get some sense into him but the guy just wouldn’t take it. He felt all types of bad to call Chanyeol stupid but he can’t help himself because right now, the giant beside him is all shades of stupid. All for that towering, walking embodiment of Chanyeol’s fantasies, Kris Wu. The past few days are really challenging not because of Chanyeol but also because of some strikingly irritating tanned boy who always jumps on every opportunity he gets to talk to Kyungsoo. He pushed the face of that boy away from his consciousness.

                “Kris has replied to my text,” Chanyeol brandished his phone on Kyungsoo’s nose. If Kyungsoo could literally barf at this lovesick puppy of a bestfriend that he has, he would. Just to ease the butterflies in his stomach because he can’t stop reliving the moment when he’s experiencing the same feeling that Chanyeol has at the moment. It feels a lot stronger because it all happened just this summer. And it also ended just this summer.

                “He’s just playing you, Yeol. Can’t you see that?” Kyungsoo tried to wake Chanyeol up from his three-day daydreaming.

                “Why are you so opposed to us, Soo? Can’t you just be happy for me?” they stopped walking half-way to their classroom. Many people still shoot Chanyeol daggers with their eyes but they know better than so much as voice out what’s in their head. Nobody in Gem High School could live with a paint-ruined uniform. Kyungsoo’s brows twitched with impatience. He’s been having this conversation with Chanyeol everytime they’re left alone.

                “I know that Kris Wu has something up his sleeve. He’s just using you for something!”

                “And what something could that be, Soo?” Chanyeol stubbornly crossed his arms on his chest. For three days, Kyungsoo has been a nagging mother hen.

                “I don’t know yet but I will find out. I just don’t want you to get hurt, you dummy. Look at you! You’ve been so attached to him in just three days! What will happen if one day he’ll just spring on your face the inevitable break up?” this is what worries Kyungsoo the most. He’s known the feeling of breaking up and it’s not one bit nice. It hurts like hell and he’s not sure how a pure-hearted person like Chanyeol can handle that. Even him, who’s more mature is still not handling it well. Heck, he’s been avoiding it like a plague. He’s been avoiding Kai like a plague.

                “Know what I think, Soo? This isn’t about me,” he can feel Chanyeol’s eyes boring into his skull. As bad as Chanyeol is at his academics, he’s downright insightful and perceptive. Most of the time, Kyungsoo admires him for this but not now. Not when he’s trying to keep something from his bestfriend since the dawn of time. Not now when he’s still trying to get himself together.

                “I know that you’ve been keeping something from me and I didn’t push you to tell it to me because I know you’ll get around and tell it to me y
