Since Jongin is preparing for his surprise for Kyungsoo’s birthday, he asked for permission to go home earlier than the rest. Their choreographer agreed without much persuasion because Jongin is, to be quite frank, the best dancer in Gem High so it wouldn’t hurt if he misses a few hours of practice because he has practically nailed down every move of their routine and his solo has been completed a few days ago though the only persons who has seen it is Luhan and their choreographer. He didn’t show the whole routine though. He wants Kyungsoo to see it first before anybody else does. That’s about the gist of his surprise to his boyfriend.

                That left Luhan with no choice but to endure the thickening tension in between him and his brat of a boyfriend. A month hasn’t even past into their relationship but they’re already having problems. During Christmas Eve, everything seemed perfect and so did the days that followed it until the Kris issue started. He and Jongin had already talked about this but Luhan is still adamant to giving in to Sehun’s childishness. He wants Sehun to realize this with himself alone because if the brat so willingly entered this relationship, he should work hard to keep it together. They need to do this together.

                But how can they do it when they won’t even look at each other? Luhan is getting frustrated at this. His previous relationship wasn’t as heavy as this because Jaden has always did what Luhan wants. He followed everything that Luhan says and that is the reason why Luhan broke up with him. Luhan was solely handling the relationship with Jaden just playing behind the shadows. He appreciates that Sehun speaks his mind but he’s being illogical. Where will his jealousy get him? Somewhere far away from Luhan and that big time.

                Sehun is so close yet so far and Luhan misses him even more than when they don’t really see each other. He can only watch him from afar and the nearest that they’ve been in the past days is whenever the formation leads Sehun beside him but then after eight beats, they’re back to being almost strangers. One thing that he realized amidst all these is that if he wants to make peace with his boyfriend, Luhan has to swallow his pride and approach him first. He’s stubborn about it at first but his longing for the younger won over everything else.

                That’s why when they were dismissed, Luhan rushed to get his bag, swung it over his back and ran towards Sehun who was gulping down what’s remained in his water bottle. The other members have been used to the idea that Luhan and Sehun are indeed together so there were no more stares and whispering when they saw the older aiming for the other on the other side of the studio.

                “Sehunnie… oops. Sorry,” Luhan was planning on a sweet back hug hoping that Sehun will finally start paying him attention again but the force of their contact led Sehun to choke on his water. So much for a sweet reunion, ain’t it? Luhan patted his back soothingly until his cough bouts has stopped. He might’ve pissed Sehun for what happened but Luhan will stand his ground if it means that this fight will be over but he almost did his victory dance when Sehun straightened up and pulled him into his arms.

                “God, I miss you so much,” Sehun whispered as he breathed Luhan’s scent that has him going crazy for the past days because that’s all he could have from his angel. The other found himself melting into the hug that he didn’t know he also missed until now.

                “Look here, hon,” Luhan touched the younger’s cheek and he moved it so that their eyes are locked on the other’s. “I’m sorry. I was being an insensitive prick but I want you to understand that Kris is an important person in my life, too. But Jongin has made me see that I may be hurting you and I don’t want that. Let’s talk about this, please? I hate the cold war.”

                “Jongin? Really?” Sehun scoffed. It seems that he has to thank his bestfriend, after all. “And I’m sorry, too, angel,” he leaned his forehead on Luhan’s. “I was being hurt jealous because of your bestfriend. It’s just that I want you to know me better than you know Kris hyung. And I want you to know me better than anybody else does,” he kissed his boyfriend lightly on the lips.

                “Then are we okay?” Luhan’s beautiful smile came back on his lips. Sehun chuckled.
