                Jongin doesn’t know where to begin. He followed Sehun’s instructions but half of his mind is still in doubt if Kyungsoo would even follow him. He felt half-relieved and half-terrified when his ex boyfriend the love of his life did walk after him though he was a few steps behind. He wanted to close that distance and reach for Kyungsoo’s hand but he’s the biggest chicken ever. He’s half-blaming it on his love for chicken and it’s kind of rubbing off on him.

                And I should stop being a half-assed bastard, Jongin thought. When they reached the premier suite, he used the master key that all employees were equipped with to open the door. His thoughts went to his bestfriend. How come that is seems that Sehun knows that he’s working there? He has never seen him here, unlike Kyungsoo who has been there almost every night. Of course, Jongin knows because it’s like there’s a perpetual spotlight trained on that beautiful, wide-eyed boy. He just never had the balls to let the other know that he knows he’s there.

                “I think I should start first,” Kyungsoo broke the awkward silence that’s been between them after the tension from earlier has subsided. He wanted to sit beside Jongin and hold his face and maybe kiss him because who knows how he missed those wonderful lips but all he could do is stare at the younger with regret. What has gotten into him that he decided to break up with this y but pure-hearted jerk? Yeah, his ever short temper and his biggest insecurities. He said that he should start first but he doesn’t know where to begin and it’s already taking too long because Jongin is now looking at him with a very expectant expression.

                “Uhh, Eun Soo called me this afternoon,” Kyungsoo waited for any reaction from Jongin but the other just looked at him urging him to continue. Ahh, it. He doesn’t know anything about the call and I just accused him with this stupid brains of mine. “And I told her to off.”

                “What? Why would you do that, Kyungie? Did she say something bad?” Jongin doesn’t have a clue as to why Eun Soo has called Kyungsoo. Has she known about them? He feels a little bad for her because of how his baby (yeah, he’ll claim Kyungsoo all he wants even if it’s just in his head) has treated her but that… girl deserved it. She has just thrown him to the flames with no warning whatsoever.

                “Because she said that you’re not her baby’s father,” that’s great, isn’t it? But why is Kyungsoo still looks mad? He frowned at this.

                “So you’d rather that I am her son’s father?” , is he giving me away that easily?

                “Are you not? You said that you are,” Kyungsoo can feel his temper rising again. He doesn’t want to talk about what Jongin has done behind his back with the bastard himself. But they need to talk and this is the only thing that they should be talking about. This is what has broken them apart, anyway.

                “God, Do Kyungsoo. When did I ever tell you that?” Jongin is feeling really frustrated. How come Kyungsoo has no trust in him? Was he really that bad that Kyungsoo would believe anything bad that is said about him? Yes, you are and he doesn’t even know everything about your past yet, Kai. Jongin’s inner voice should learn to shut up at times like this.

                “So, what? Are you the father or not, Kim Jongin?” there, Kyungsoo snapped already. His impatience got into him because he wants to know if he can be with Jongin again or if he should just go bury himself in grief because of losing him. The younger took a deep breath and walked over to where he is seating, kneeled down in front of him and flattened his fists over Jongin’s delicious toned chest. Kyungsoo’s stupid brain even has space to get erted in their situation, great.
