Stupidly Perfect, Perfectly StupidNote:
DOUBLE UPDATE YOU GUYS! But this is the first one. I've got to still remind you that you have to backtrack your last chapter in case that I've been updating a little bit too fast for you. Just making it up for my busy work days. SARANGHEYO! <3
“What was that?” Kyungsoo asked with disbelief. First, Sehun and then followed by Mr. Perfect and his bestfriend and then Prince Luhan. Those people left him and Jongin staring at the back of their heads.
“It’s about time that they get their together,” Jongin breathed. He linked his fingers to Kyungsoo’s. “It’s also about time that we have our own time together,” he whispered lowly to his boyfriend’s ear making the shorter tremble.
“Kyungsoo-yah... oh,” Baekhyun entered the gym with the hope of finding his closest friend but it seemed like he has interrupted something.
“Yes, you are, Byun,” Jongin has read his mind. Kyungsoo swatted his arm.
“You need something, Baek?” Kyungsoo stepped away from Jongin making the other grunt in annoyance. Why do people always pop up whenever he and Kyungsoo can finally find their own time? And to make it worse, his boyfriend keeps on entertaining them and he’s being put aside. All he can do is wait for that rare moment to come by but Jongin has had enough. He has been putting up with this for weeks and the hurt that built up from Kyungsoo’s hesitance on skinship made its way to his consciousness. He has been used to ignoring that small bit but it doesn’t mean that he forgets.
“Come on, tell me… Wha…? Jongin, where are you going?” Kyungsoo crossed his arms and leaned his weight on one of his feet. Jongin can’t think of a reply that wouldn’t make his boyfriend upset so he just quietly left the gym leaving his boyfriend with his mouth hanging open. Jongin never did that before. He has never left Kyungsoo first and he always waits for the shorter to shoo him away before leaving with a big grin on his face. His stomach dropped to the floor. Has he gone far to testing Jongin’s patience?
“Soo, we can talk later. You run after your boyfriend,” Baekhyun gave him a small smile that didn’t reach his saddened eyes.
“He’s probably just tired. Let’s talk over coffee?” Kyungsoo held Baekhyun by his elbow. He doesn’t know how to talk to Jongin right now so he might as well help Baek first. The other nodded weakly and he let Kyungsoo lead him to the café across the school.
“I’m… I’m leaving, Soo,” Baekhyun confessed as soon as their orders were served.
“Why? You just started here,” Kyungsoo leaned on his elbows and focused his gaze on his childhood friend.
“Well, my reason for coming back is gone,” Baek smiled sadly.
“Can you tell me what that is? It’s such a waste that you had to travel all the way back here and then just leave.”
“I’m not sure if you want to hear it,” Baek leaned back on the couch.
“Try me?”
“It has something to do with Chanyeol…” Kyungsoo was not so surprised. Baek must have sensed Chanyeol’s dislike on him. Is that reason enough for him to leave? “…and Kri
