Stupidly Perfect, Perfectly Stupid“What is with this cursed school anyway? They lock us up here!” Luhan complained at the moment his feet reached their room.
“This is a special boarding school, Luhan. Their security is a lot tighter and stricter than Gem High,” Kris answered as he put his things down to open his bedroom.
“I’m feeling claustrophobic already,” Jongin’s eyes were darting from one thing to another. Their place could easily pass for a big house because they did not only have bedrooms with individual bathrooms for each of them but they also have a dining area which could seat eight people, a pool table, a 65’ LED TV, a PlayStation 4 (Jongin was especially eyeing that lovely thing), a study room and a very spacious living area. All three of them sighed.
“We should settle down and we better check back on them,” Kris cringed. He was the one who came up with the idea of leaving unexpectedly and he knows how stupid that is. He himself wanted to have kissed Chanyeol before they left. But he also knows that it will take all of Luhan’s bodyguards to pry him off of Sehun and Jongin might just be strapped in his seat forcefully to keep him from running to Kyungsoo. As for Kris, he might’ve just give up on the company which will be passed to him and take up music, too.
That would possibly happen in movies but Kris had to do reality check. He might be in love but the world doesn’t stop. Time will continue and Kris have a future to think about. He wanted to continue what his dad has started because he knew how his old man worked hard for their company to grow as it is right now. And he knows how much Chanyeol wanted to study where his mother did. He’s got his own dreams that Kris wants him to have. Love is patient. He can certainly wait for Chanyeol because he is very much worth it.
“I tried calling Sehun but he’s not picking up,” Luhan let himself fall on the soft L-shaped sofa.
“I can’t reach Kyungie either,” Jongin dragged his feet from his bedroom towards his cousin.
“I’ll try to call Chanyeol,” Kris set his laptop up and checked for any messages from Chanyeol but there was none. He was about to close it when he saw that the other is online.
Love? Kris typed and he held his breath because Chanyeol can either log-out or reply. His grin appeared when he saw his boyfriend replying.
Video call.
Kris didn’t waste another second and he started a video call. His smile instantly disappeared when he saw Chanyeol in front of him but his face is covered, except his puffy eyes. Luhan and Jongin crawled beside him and they both put a hand on Kris’ back.
“Oh… hi,” Chanyeol’s voice cracked.
“Yeol,” Kris breathed.
“Please don’t mind me. My face bloats whenever I cry too much that’s why I’m like this,” his boyfriend chuckled and it didn’t sound forced. But Kris missed him more now that he’s seeing him just on a computer screen.
“Love, I’m sorry but…” Chanyeol held up his hand to stop Kris. He stepped away from his laptop for a few seconds and he returned smiling but his face also looked puffy.
“I’m okay, Love,” Chanyeol spoke. “I was able to cry already so I’m okay now.”
“Uhmmm, Channie? How about Sehun?” Luhan cleared his throat. Chanyeol called for his cousin.
“Tell him to get his lazy to call me himself instead of being in somebody else’s” Sehun shouted in the background. Luhan hurried a ‘Thanks!’ and he’s nowhere in sight in a blink.
“Same goes for that tanned idiot. My phone died because who knows how many people I had to call just to make sure that he was able to arrive to China in one piece,” upon hearing Kyungsoo’s irritated voice, Jongin leaped up and dashed to his room. Chanyeol stood up and he brought his laptop with him. Kris waited until he saw that Chanyeol went inside a room.
“I don’t know how to say sorry…”
“Kris, I told you I’m okay,” Chanyeol smiled again.
“Are you really? Well, I’m not.”
“That’s stupid, love. You’re the one who left,” he giggled.
“I miss you so much already,” Kris wanted to push his hand through the monitor and maybe he
