“Congratulations, love!” Kris greeted Chanyeol with a tight hug.

                “What is this for?” he replied with red ears.

                “Well, you’re in the tenth spot but at least your still in the top ten!” Kris gave him a kiss on the cheek making him flush even more.

                “That’s because you’ve helped me a lot. Thank you,” he smiled at his boyfriend who looked proud of him. It made Chanyeol happy that he made Kris happy.

                “So how’re the rankings?” Kyungsoo came up behind them.

                “Still the same for me and Luhan…”

                “Congrats, love!” Chanyeol interrupted and he gave Kris his share of kiss on the cheek. He’s finally gotten around to calling Kris ‘love’ making the other much happier.

                “Why, thanks, love,” Kris gave him a smile and turned to his bestfriend to continue. “Sehun has gone ahead of Jongin though. Sehun is on the third spot and Jongin is on the fifth,” Kris thought that Kyungsoo will get mad but the shorter just sighed.

                “At least he didn’t do worse,” Kyungsoo felt relieved. Jongin had been absent for a week and he has to help him get back into shape a few days before the exams. But most of their study time turns to unplanned dates even though Jongin is grounded and that made Kyungsoo wary. He could’ve told his boyfriend no but Jongin is more important than their ranking, or is he?

                “How about Soo?” Chanyeol asked for him. He didn’t want to hear it because he’s not confident for this term, unlike the previous ones but Kyungsoo has kept his ears attentive to Kris’ answer.

                “Still on top, of course. Congratulations to you too, Kyungsoo,” Kris offered his hand and Kyungsoo shook it with a little more enthusiasm. At least he can breathe freely now. He has to plan his time properly starting now because Jongin doesn’t have even a small sense of time. He just goes about what he wants to do and when without much thought.

                “Hey guys!” blonde Luhan called from the other end of the corridor with a disgruntled looking blonde Sehun towed and Jongin following them. Luhan did get his hair blonde the day after the Halloween ball. “Let’s go grab lunch!”

                The group sat together on their usual table but they always shared lunch quietly with the couples minding each other, even though Luhan and Sehun isn’t official yet, they just might be if Sehun admits to what he has done during the Halloween ball. He’s claiming that he was just possessed when that happened but Luhan didn’t buy it so he makes sure to remind that to Sehun every time possible, like every time they’re together and that makes Sehun look annoyed. Sehun can remember everything he did during the dance performance but he was murderously jealous then so he says to Jongin that he’s not in the right state of mind. Jongin has told him to man up or else endure.

                “Listen up,” Luhan started. Five pairs of eyes turned to him. “Don’t look too much, Sehunnie. I might melt,” he winked on the younger who rolled his eyes and slumped back to his chair, blaming himself for what he has done impulsively during the Halloween ball because it just made Luhan more confident and more persistent making him go crazier about him. “We’ll spend the first week of our Christmas break at Kris’ vacation house in Jeju!” Luhan announced.

                “Lu, I told you to not make plans like this without telling me,” Kris shook his head at his bestfriend. Knowing him, he probably has everything planned out starting from their departure until they get back here.
