“That was a close call”, L mentioned as he went back into their waiting room.

Myungsoo had to juggle two tasks. Performing with s and hosting the program. He immediately seeks for his mobile phone from his manager.

Sunggyu shook his head, “You’ve been looking at it the whole day. Jiyeon isn’t replying to your messages?”

Myungsoo shook his head as he frowned in worry.

{Yesterday}

“Are you done with your schedule yet?”, Jiyeon called Myungsoo as she got bored waiting for him in his room.

“Are you going to meet me?”

Jiyeon sighed, “I was supposed to do something but then it got cancelled.”

She didn’t want to tell him about what happened earlier and he was also unaware of her plans with Sungjong. The young one thought it was best not to tell him and asked Jiyeon directly instead for the shopping trip.

“I’m left with a few segments and then I would be done for the day”, he assured her.

Jiyeon rolled in bed, feeling grumpy. Firstly, she looks like a mess with that scar on her face, second, she was feeling super tired after a long day at work.

“Okay, I’ll be in your room. I feel like taking a short nap. Please be home when I wake up?”, she chided and ended the call.

Myungsoo chuckled at how clingy she was becoming and Hyeri couldn’t help but to notice him laughing by himself.

Hyeri wasn’t buying it and grabbed his arms.

Jiyeon rubbed her eyes as she woke up from her nap. She looked at the clock on the wall. It was already 9pm.

Her father would be home in an hour time. And if he sees she’s not home yet, she’s screwed.

Reality struck her and she realized Myungsoo wasn’t home yet. The last time she checked, she called him at 4pm in the afternoon.

“But he said he was left with a few segments”, he muttered.

Jiyeon sloppily got out of bed and out to the living room.

“Are you feeling better now?”, Hoya asked as he followed her to the door.

She nodded, “Thank you for what you did earlier back then. I hope Myung doesn’t know anything about this.”

Hoya sighed, not sure if he should keep this as a secret. He knew sasaengs aren’t something to be joking about.

“I tried calling her last night after I was done with the show, but she didn’t pick up my calls”, he explained to his leader.

He slouch his shoulders as he kept spinning his phone on his palm.

“I guess it was my fault for giving her false hope that I would be early. She isn’t replying back my texts”, he pouted, like a kid who loses his toy car.

“She’s definitely pissed at you cause you stood her up”, she clucked her tongue at him.
