You Changed
Shaking Heart
“Jun?” Miryung stepped down from the stairs.
From nowhere arms wrapped around Miryung’s waist causing her to let out a little yelp.
“You’re finally up.” Kangjun buried his face in the crook of her neck.
“What the hell Jun? You scared the crap out of me.” Miryung slapped her husband’s arm.
Kangjun chuckled, “Sorry. I thought you heard me.”
Miryung rolled her eyes, “I’m still half-asleep, Jun.”
Kangjun tightened his arms around her, “Are you going to stay with me forever?”
Miryung pinched her brows together puzzled to why he would ask such a question, “What?”
“Are you going to stay with me forever?” He repeated.
“Jun, what are you talking about?” She asked.
“Just answer the question, please.” He pleaded.
Miryung heard the tone change in her husband’s voice. She softened and nodded, “I will. We’re married, remember?”
“Good.” Kangjun breathed.
“Is something wrong Jun?” She peeked at his face.
Kangjun shook his head, “Everything’s fine now.”
Miryung raised a brow doubtfully, “Are you sure?”
Kangjun smiled and lifted his head off her shoulder, “I’m sure. Are you hungry? Mrs. Gong made us some breakfast.”
Before Miryung could even reply, Kangjun had already pushed her gently towards the dining room.
“Good morning Miryung! Good morning Jun!” Mrs. Kang greeted happily.
Kangjun shook his head as he closed the hospital door, “Why are you so chirpy in the morning, mom?”
“Because I’m glad that my son and daughter-in-law are here.” Mrs. Kang beamed.
Miryung bowed, “Good morning omonim. Good morning abeonim.”
“Good morning.” Mr. Kang greeted.
Miryung smiled, “How are you doing, omonim?”
“I’m fine.” Mrs. Kang waved the matter off. She looked at her son and daughter-in-law, who were standing side by side, “I’m sorry for cutting your honeymoon short.”
Kangjun shook his head, “It’s fine. You don’t have to worry about us. We just want you to recover, that’s all.”
“Aigoo, look at you, Jun. You’re becoming such a mature adult know.” Mrs. Kang giggled as she turned to Miryung. “Did you teach him a lesson that’s why he’s behaving so well?”
Kangjun gaped at his mother while Miryung laughed softly.
“Mom, how could you say that?” Kangjun frowned.
Mrs. Kang blinked at him innocently, “How could I not say that? You’re changing into a different person.”
Miryung arched a brow and turned to her husband with a questioning look.
Kangjun turned to his wife before turning back to his mother, “I am not. I’m still the same old Jun.”
Mrs. Kang shook her head, “No you aren’t. Honey, don’t you think Jun is changing?”
Kangjun and Miryung turned their attention Mr. Kang, who nodded his head.
“Indeed Jun has changed. There’s something that’s different about him.” The older male answered.
Kangjun scowled, “How is that possible? I’m not changing. I’m still the same old Jun from before.”
Mrs. Kang turned to Miryung, “Don’t you think he has changed? There’s just something off about him.”
Miryung turned to her husband and looked at him.
Kangjun raised his brows, “What?”
Miryung turned back to her mother-in-law and nodded, “There sure is something different about Jun.”
Kangjun’s jaw dropped, “What?! How?!”
Mrs. Kang giggled and motioned for Miryung to go over.
The younger woman made her way over as the older woman grabbed her arm and pulled her close, “I think Jun is starting to like you.”
Miryung’s eyes widened when she heard that sentence. She glanced over at Kangjun, who caught her looking. He gave her a questioning look.
“O-Omonim.” She stuttered turning to the older woman.
Mrs. Kang smiled, “That’s a good thing, isn’t it?”
Miryung bite her bottom lip not knowing how to answer the older woman’s qu
