Night Walk Together
Shaking Heart
“Yah. Yah. Yah.” Miryung poked Kangjun, who was still soundly asleep.
Kangjun groaned as he snuggled more into the pillow.
“Wake up Jun. It’s dinner time.” Miryung shook Kangjun’s sleeping body.
“I’m tired.” Kangjun whined as he sat up.
“Remind me to never let you take naps again.” Miryung stood up from the bed.
Kangjun yawned and stretched his arms. He climbed out of bed and scratched his head, “We’re going out?”
Miryung nodded, “Yeah.”
“We could just have dinner here.” Kangjun suggested.
“It’s too late for that now.” Miryung stated as she walked out of the bedroom with Kangjun following after her.
“Do you know what you want for dinner?” Kangjun asked as he grabbed his wallet and suite keys from the countertop.
“I really want some spicy blue crab stew since we’re at the seaside.” Miryung replied as she wore her sandals.
Kangjun nodded, “That sounds good.”
Miryung hummed in reply.
“Do you know where we could have spicy blue crab stew?” Kangjun asked as the two of them stepped out of the suite.
Miryung waved her phone in the air, “Of course I do.”
Kangjun laughed, “That’s good enough.”
“This is the place?” Kangjun asked turning to Miryung.
“Yes it is. Let’s go in.” Miryung walked up to the door of the restaurant and pulled it open.
Kangjun followed right behind his wife.
“Hello.” The hostess greeted.
“Hello.” Miryung smiled.
The hostess looked at Miryung and Kangjun, “Two?”
“Yes two.” Miryung replied.
The hostess nodded, “Please follow me.”
Miryung bowed as she followed after the hostess with Kangjun right behind her.
“Here you go.” The hostess set down the menus on the table. “A waiter will be with you shortly.”
“Thank you.” Kangjun smiled as he pulled out Miryung’s chair for her.
The hostess bowed and left the couple.
“Thanks.” Miryung sat down.
“You’re welcome.” Kangjun walked over to his seat.
“Wow. This looks good.” Miryung looked through the menu.
“Can you just order and I eat? I’m not really picky about what I eat.” Kangjun leaned back in his seat.
Miryung looked up at her husband, “Are you sure?”
Kangjun nodded, “Yeah. I just want to eat then sleep.”
Miryung shook her head as she looked back down at the menu.
“This is really good.” Miryung her lips.
Kangjun chuckled, “You must really have wanted to eat some spicy blue crab stew, huh?”
Miryung took another sip of the soup, “Do you want to try some?”
“Of course. I’m not going to starve myself and watch you eat.” Kangjun declared as he took a sip of the stew.
“How is it?” Miryung asked as she waited for her husband’s feedback.
Kangjun nodded, “It’s good.”
Miryung smiled, “It certainly is.”
“Then let’s eat. I’m starving here.” Kangjun grabbed some japchae. “What do you want to do after this?”
Miryung glanced at her husband, “I don’t know yet.”
“Are you saying you want to explore after dinner?” Kangjun asked.
“It wouldn’t hurt if we do that.” Miryung replied.
“But won’t we be too full to walk around?” Kangjun questioned.
Miryung shook her head, “No, I think we’ll be fine. We’re going to need to burn off these calories that we’re eating.”
“Oh, so now you care about how much calories you’re consuming?” Kangjun raised a brow.
“No. I just said that just in case you were worried about your weight.” Miryung answered.
Kangjun’s jaw dropped with a crab leg hanging out of his mouth, “What?”
“Yah. Don’t talk with food in your mouth.” Miryung scolded.
Kangjun closed his mouth and nibbled on the crab
