Chapter 38; Strong.

“ you.”

Kyung cursed at his own father as he strides out of their house.
He had had enough with all the crap his father had been doing.
His mother had died because she found her husband on their bed ing another woman and here he is ing another woman in front of his son.
Kyung was mad, obviously and to stop himself from either breaking down or kill his father, he ran to nowhere in mind.

Kyung treasure his mother so much so it was no surprise that her death affected him so much.
He wanted so much to kill his father for being the reason of her death.
Sometimes, he felt like dying, he wants to be with his mother, she was the only thing that kept him smiling at home.
But now, it was you that he kept him fighting on.

Kyung had never been the strongest physically or mentally but since he met you, it was now or never.
He knew you were his saviour.
He believed that you were an exchange of the loss he experience.
As long as you’re with him, he must keep living.
He must be strong, he needs to protect you.

He sat on the pavement, it was dim and he could only hear the passing train and the wind.
The moonlight tonight was daring his tears to come rolling out.
He felt so broken tonight.

But as always he think of one thing only.
He thought of you.
Of your girlish smiles and your dressing when he first saw you.
He was still trying to recall if you were wearing sneakers or cardigan when his phone rang.
It was you.

“Kyung-ah, what are you doing?”

“Me? I’m trying to sleep. Sing for me, you always sing me to sleep.”

He urged you.
You knew that voice well, he was lying.
There were the sound of trains and he was sniffling.
He was holding back his tears.

He had always told you that you had a nice voice and you had always sang him songs.
It was a talent you kept secret, you weren’t much of the loud girl who would sing to the world anyway, but for Kyung, singing was just a minor.
You had much more than just singing alone.
You sang him his favourite song and you heard him chuckle.
You loved his chuckle.

“Don’t hold it in, I’m here.”

You softly said and you heard Kyung sigh.
Then he cried.
It was soft but it made you feel much less worried.
Now he doesn’t have it all build up in him.
