Chapter 36; We Belong Together.

You didn’t know why but Daesung insisted to meet you right now.
Sure, you love to get out of the house right now, especially to see him but it was snowing and it’s cold.
You didn’t even have to feel it outside because even in the vicinity of your comfortable home, it was chilly.

But like always, you got on your feet to meet the man.
You cuddled yourself in real thick sweater and pants.
You looked ridiculous but it doesn’t matter.
Winter hasn’t always been the best season for you but whatever huh.

“ANNYEONGHASEYO, DAESUNG-IMNIDA!”

He came out form nowhere and surprised you.
If he wasn’t funny, you would’ve yelled at him for almost giving you a heart attack.
But he’s Daesung.
Whatever he does is goofy.
You hugged him and he wrapped his arms around you as you both walked, courteously asking you if you were warm enough from time to time.

This is one of the humbler reasons why you loved him.
He always cares.
Not only for you but for everyone else as well.
 He is always asking if he could help out in any way at all.

He ushered you into a café and treated you to a nice warm cup of tea.
You didn’t like chocolate or caffeine and though he loved both, he had always made sure you got what you liked.
While looking out at the beautiful white flakes falling from the sky, Daesung inched closer and closer to you.

“I got accepted as a trainee!”

He excitedly whispered.
You felt giddy all of a sudden.
You were really happy for him.
He had wanted this really badly and knowing that he got the spot, you wanted to just jump around the café screaming for joy on his behalf.

Then it struck you.
Ah, he’s gonna be a singer.
He’s gonna need to spent a lot of time for his training.
He doesn’t  need a distraction like you.
The more you thought, the more you believed that by you being close to him would bring things to a complicated end.

“Why aren’t you saying anything?”

He asked you, worriedly.
You shrugged it off, sipping on your tea thinking of how to ask him.
The whole time in the café, you just kept to yourself.
 Without much to say anymore, you both got on your way out the café.

“Should we stop being together?”

You carefully asked.

“Why?”

Daesung calmly asked.
Much to your shock.

“Because you need time for training and I’m just gonna be a distraction and…”

You wanted to continue your train of thoughts form just now but this man you loved just rudely interrupt you.

“If you want to leave me then I’m quitting, I’m not gonna be a trainee.”

You pouted.

“If I break up with you and become a popular singer, who am I gonna thank during the awards show? Who am I gonna keep singing for?”

You smiled and he kissed you under the white sky.

That was why after that one day, you loved Winter.
