Woohyun had been your boyfriend for a while now but you still haven’t got really comfortable with him yet.
Yes, you have loved him for a long time.
Maybe even longer than he did.
Maybe its this that’s making it hard for you grow comfy with him.

Woohyun is a great guy, undeniably.
He’s outgoing, funny, real fun to be with but you just cant seem to be close with him the way couples should be.
It’s just  that when you’re with him, you get shy and all as much as you didn’t want to, you just are.

“Give me your hand.”

Woohyun asked with a smile.
You cautiously did, your eyes never leaving his.

“There we are.”

He softly gave your hand a squeeze and continued walking at the slow pace.
It was awkward for you at first but you got the hang of it soon.

It was always like this when you go out with him.
He’ll talk and you’ll listen.
You had never been that much of a talkative person anyway.
As the youngest in the family, you always kept quiet and listen to everyone else older than you.
That’s why you were mostly just smiling.

It happened that one night after a whole day out with Woohyun, you cleared your bag and found a neatly folded note.

“To the pretty girl reading this: I really do love you. Call me up after reading this.”

And you did call him.
For the first time you were the one who spoke throughout.
And everytime you attempted to say something funny, he would laugh.
Only now you realized how beautiful his laugh sounded.

“I love you for going out of your comfort zone for me.”

Woohyun said and it was honestly the first time you felt butterflies really flying like hell in your tummy.
