It was the day of your wedding with the love of your life and you are in your room, in your wedding dress, beautiful as ever.
You were nervous, afraid that you might trip and fall and make a total fool out of yourself. I
n the midst of worrying over yourself, a constant knocking on the door, woke you up.

" Who's that? "

" Dongwoon. "

" COME IN! "

You invited him excitedly.
No one else was in your room except for the both of you.
Dongwoon sat by your side on your bed and you asked him how you looked.
He smiled and put his thumb out.

Dongwoon is your most treasured dongsaeng and no one can replace that spot.
He's like a younger brother you can always dote on.
Only you didnt you the part when he's madly in love with you.
Dongwoon hated how spellbound he was when he saw how stunning you look in the dress.
He felt the stinging pain come back again when it dawned to him that no matter how beautiful you look and how much he loved you, after today, you're not his anymore.

You used to like him, although for a short period of time.
Maybe it was due to his care and concern towards you that you appreciated him more and your feelings got more deeper.
But in time you realized that it was all nothing but just you gratefulness towards his care.
Dongwoon didn't know that, ofcourse.
The fact that you loved him once.
Because if he did know about it, he wouldn't be this miserable.
Looking at you so beautifully dressed and yet not his.

" You know, I liked you once before. You didn't know that did you? "

You confessed teasingly to Dongwoon.
You had expected him to laugh at you or mock you someway or another but he did not.
Instead he just looked at you, amazed probably.
 

He was more than that.
He was more than amazed.
He was angry.
Why didn't he see that?
He could have told you he loved you too and all these won't be as complicated as it is now.
He wanted you and this was a chance.

" Bride, you need to come out now. "

One of the bridesmaid called out to you and you stood up.
You pulled out your hand and hoisted Dongwoon up.
You tiptoed and kissed his cheek.

" That's the last kiss for you before I become someone else's wife. "
You said before you made your way out the door.
Dongwoon stood where he was unable to move or process whatever that's happening to him.

You liked him before?
How clueless had he been?
He slapped himself in regret.
He's such a coward.
Even after you telling him that you actually liked him, he still wasn't able to tell you his feelings.
