Amber's POV And God knows how much it tortures me just looking at her every moment...I felt like I'm being torn to pieces, bit by bit as I look at the doctors trying to revive her...and as much as I wanted to stay beside her, I can't...I just stood there helpless looking over that glass window and it felt worst...I could'nt do anything for her... "don't do this Krys...I---I can't" I whispered over and prayed hard for her to recover.. __________________________________________________________ "hey--" I felt a light tap on my shoulder and saw Top when I looked up.. "are you okay?" I shrugged my shoulders as I looked back down on Krystal who was still uncinscious though the doctors said she's in stable condition now...I could feel her weak breathing...if only I could do much more, if only I could just take that sickness away from her...if only I could take all those pain instead----if only... "what should I do---I couldn't protect her.." I said helplessly.. "God!---I'm so afraid right now..thinking how long...what will happen tomorrow---the next days..how long should she stay this way" my sight came blurry as tears welled up my eyes...and I felt his grip over my shoulder tighten..I looked back at Top "you---for once in your life I know you loved her too..you won't let anything bad happen to her right? I can trust you----right?" I asked more in a pleading tone.. "I'll do everything I can Amber" he answered full of sincerity.. "okay---I'll go ahead then I have to talk to her doctor" I nodded and soon there's only me and her left.. I stared back at her wrapping my arm over her squeezed her lightly and leaned my head over her chest...I don't know how long but the sound of her heartbeat made me somehow at ease..it gave me the assurance she was still there with me... "I can't go on without you princess---I can't do this alone" and soon after my eyes felt heavy and drifted off to sleep.. Early next morning I decides to go out for a walk and get her some baby breath flowers that I'm sure she'd love to see incase she'd wake up later on *I know she will*... I asked a nurse to keep sight of her before I took my way out of the hospital... I just took a quick jog,but then I guess fate's not with me that I couldn't even find a single flower shop around that's already opened...luckily while I passed at an old house, I finally saw what I've been looking for and an old man was currently watering them.. "goodmorning sir!" I greeted bowing politely at him..ge turned to me and greeted me back with his warm smile... "I---uhh..I'm just wondering if I uhh---" he followed my gaze back at his grown flowers...and before he could speak I gathered up my courage to ask him this favor.. "can I have some of those sir?--I'll pay for it..please?" I showed him the best I could with my puppy eyes...witg him showing no reaction at all I decided to explain myself further more though he didn't asked "I just want to give it to my girl----my wife...she's sick you know and she loves those flowers..I know she'd be glad to see them the moment she'd wake up.." though my voice trailed off I managed to keep my composure not to show any weakness..and soon he waved his hands at me to go inside his yard.. Without any words, he took a cutter out his pocket and turned his back at me...I felt relieved seeing him cutting a few stems
