AUTHOR'S POV

     “here...” Jiyong handed Sohee a bottle of water... He immediately went to see her when he heard her crying on the phone...  “you okay now?” he asked worriedly as he settled himself beside her.

     Sohee heaved a deep breath before giving him a small nod... she’s already not feeling well because of too much crying... she wanted to stop but her tears kept on falling...  everything happened so fast that she doesn’t even know what to do anymore... Dara just told her to forget their relationship and there’s Jiyong whom she likes but someone already owned him and that’s her sister... and lastly her sister warned her to stay away from him... but how can she do that? Specially now that she needs someone to lean on....

     “Sohee...” Jiyong eyed intently her pale face, his eyebrows slightly furrowed and jaws clenched as he felt a tinge of pain seeing her friend in this situation... “who made you cry, Sohee?” he thought

     Sohee, unable to hold on, let her tears fall freely down on her cheeks...she bit her lips before leaning her head on Jiyong’s chest... “5 m-minutes, J-Jiyo-ng... ju..st 5 mi..nutes...” she said and choked down a sob...

     Jiyong sighed as he reached for her hand and squeezed it... “I don’t know what’s the reason why your crying like this, but I want you to know that I’m just here... I’m your friend,...”

     “a friend... only a friend... a friendship that i need to stop....” Sohee thought... “if only I could call you mine maybe I won’t be hurting this much....”

      Not far away from the two, a certain girl was watching them carefully. Anger flared up inside her seeing how close the two are... She walked towards the two and stood in front of them... “Kwon Jiyong....” she called in a cold voice, gaining their attention...

    Sohee immediately stood up upon hearing Bom’s voice. She hung her head low because of embarrassment...

     Jiyong looked up, facing Bom... “noona, what are you doing here?” he asked

     Bom raised an eyebrow as she looked at him straight in the eye...... “WHAT AM I DOING HERE?...” she repeated through gritted teeth... “ YOU?... what are you doing here with that woman?” she asked pointing at Sohee....

    Jiyong stood up and gave Sohee a quick glance before answering Bom...  “uhmm, Noona sohee needs a friend so I-“

     “My cousin also needs her fiance right now...” Bom cut him off angrily, emphasizing the word “FIANCE”, shifting her gaze to face Sohee who is still looking down....

     Jiyong frowned... “why what happened to Dara?” he asked worriedly

     “it’s already past 4...” Bom answered as she kept a steady gaze on the girl in front of her... “you should be going right now, Dara is waiting at your house... she needs to talk to you...”

     “o-kay...” Jiyong answered... “But...” he looked at Sohee with a worried face... how can he leave her with her situation right now....

     Feeling his gaze, Sohee looked up and met his eyes...  she gave him a sad smile and nod... “Go....” she softly said

     Bom  can see the hesitation into Jiyong’s eyes to leave Sohee... she then curled her hand into fist seeing Jiyongs action towards Sohee... “GO NOW JIYONG...” she muttered, suppressing her anger...

     Jiyong heaved a deep sighed before nodding... “arasso...” he answered and walks away leaving the two behind....

     As soon as Jiyong left, Sohee suddenly felt the tension between her and Bom... she knew  Bom is giving her a deathly glares since she arrived... and she knows the reason why,  after all she’s Dara’s cousin so she understand how she feels towards her... Sohee breathed in deeply and sighed before bowing politely at Bom... she was about to leave when Bom’s voice stopped her...

     “Do you think I don’t know what you’re doing?” Bom asked sharply

     Sohee turned to face her with a frown on her face... “huh?”

    “you like Jiyong don’t you?” Bom questioned with a blank face void of any emotion..

     Sohee looked at her nervously... “I -I don’t k-now what you’re talking about...” she lied

     “stop whatever plans you have, specially on Jiyong...” Bom warned Sohee

     “Bom-shi-“

     “Jiyong is the only one who can make Dara happy, and I won’t let anyone to take that away from her...” Bom said... “not even you...”

     Sohee let an audible sigh as she looked straight into Bom’s eyes... “Bom-shii... I think you misunderstood... what you see a while ago is nothing...” she tried to reason out

     Bom chuckled bitterly... “really? do you think I’m stupid?” she asked...

     Sohee shook her head... “n-no... what I mea-“

     “people know  me as a nice person... but they don’t know me when I’m mad.....” Bom muttered angrily, cutting her off... “they don’t know the things I could do when I’m mad...  and I’m telling you, you’ll not gonna like it.. so stay away from Jiyong and Dara” Bom threatened before turning on her back and walked away...

       Sohee sat on the bench weakly. She bit her lips before wiping the tears on her face...

     After the talk Dara had with her birth mom, she immediately went home  to calm her mind and to fix all the things she needed before going to CL’s house ...  good thing she  will be busy for the night because she and Bom will stay at CL’s house for the whole night to prepare for the presentation of their thesis tomorrow...

     She snapped out of her trance when she felt a pain on her head...  “argghhh...” she groaned, trying to massage her head. she was about to reach her bag to get something when the door suddenly opens...

     “baby...”

     Dara bit her lips upon hearing Jiyong’s voice... she shut her eyes firmly and heaved a deep breath before opening her eyes again... she then put a smile on her face before facing him... “hi baby...” she greeted

     “you okay?” Jiyong asked, cupping her face... “you look pale again...” he said looking at Dara’s face carefully...

     Dara nod with a smile trying to hide the pain she’s feeling on her head...

     “by the way Bom told me you wan-” Jiyong suddenly stopped when his gaze landed on Dara’s things on top of his bed...  “ wait... what this? Are you packing?” he questioned

     “neh... but I’m not packing all my things, just the important ones...” Dara answered... “I forgot to tell you yesterday  that I’m going to spend the night in Chaerin’s house with Bom...”

     “why?” Jiyong frowned

     Dara smiled at him, draping her arms on his neck. “tomorrow is our presentation for our thesis... have you forgot?” she asked as she massaged his nape and pulled him closer... “we need to finalize  and prepare everything tonight for tomorrow...” she explained giving him a quick peck on the lips....

     Jiyong chuckled...“oh is that so...” he said, wrapping his arms around Dara’s waist...  “then I will drive you off to Chaerin’s house... but....” he paused, looking at her worriedly... “are you sure you’re really okay? You really look pale...”

     Dara pulled herself away from him and sat on the edge of the bed...  “I’m okay... I’m just stressed for tomorrow...” she answered...

     “you can make it, don’t worry... I’m sure you’ll impress your professors tomorrow...,” Jiyong told her as he settled himself beside her....

     Dara smiled at him before resting her chin  on his shoulder while looking straight into his eyes... “I love you Kwon Jiyong...” she softly whispered

     Jiyong wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him... “ I love you too, Mrs. Kwon...” he said, flashing her a y smile.

     Dara giggled... “what’s with the smile? Are you seducing me Mr. Kwon?” she teased...

      Jiyong smirked... “I think there’s no need for me to seduce you Mrs. Kwon...” he softly said before placing a long lingering kiss on her lips.
