L. Joe was in utter perplexity.

'~~~~~~ would never hurt anybody without a reasonable reason.' L. Joe shook his head. '~~~~~~ isn't like that.' L. Joe filed through his distraught thoughts. 'It's all just a rumor anyways. But it Kyung Mi really hurt?'

At if it was timed, Kyung Mi happened to walk by while chatting with a friend of hers.

L. Joe scrutinized her and realized that, like the rumor said, she was wearing more clothing over her than usual.

'I must ask her if the rumors are true.' L. Joe jogged towards her and grabbed her arm.

She yelped in pain at his touch and he impulsively released her at her cry of pain. Her friend whipped her head at L. Joe to squawk at him for hurting her. But when she saw who he was, she turned to Kyung Mi and asked if she okay instead.

Kyung Mi nodded when they asked if she was fine. She turned her head towards L. Joe and brightened almost immediately. "Oppa!"

"Are the rumors true?" He skipped through formalities and went straight for the bullseye. "That you got beaten up?"

Before Kyung Mi could reply, he friend butted it. "Hell yeah they are! Her legs and arms are full of bruises. Believe me, I witnessed them myself!" She declared.

L. Joe stared at her doubtfully. "Prove it to me."

"You want proof?" She rhetorically asked. "I'll give you proof."

Kyung Mi gasped in surprise at her friend's rash action. Her friend grabbed her jacket collar and pulled down, revealing a section of her purple flesh. L. Joe's eyes widened in disbelief. 'So the rumors are true... does that mean ~~~~~~ really committed such a sin?'

"So is it true? That ~~~~~~...?" L. Joe gazed at Kyung Mi with hopeful eyes, hoping that it was all a misunderstanding and someone else actually committed the crime.

Kyung Mi stayed quiet. Her friend glanced at Kyung Mi. Knowing that she wasn't going to reply, she once again opens her trap. "She gave us clue after clue about who did this to her and it narrowed done to her. She is the criminal." She announced her final verdict.

"I'm not asking you, am I?" L. Joe cold eyes landed on her. Even with such a blood-freezing aura that encircled him, his features that came along could steal any girl's heart. She shivered under his icy glare. 'So daunting... yet so enticing.' She thought and smirked. 'Me likey.'

L. Joe glanced back at Kyung Mi with warmer eyes. "Well?"

Kyung Mi averted her eyes to everything besides him. L. Joe crossed his arms impatiently. "I'm waiting." She bit her lip anxiously. "Uhh... I..." She wrung her hands together. "I... I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM." She shot up and declared. She dashed towards the nearest restroom, and left L. Joe and her friend befuddled.

"I don't understand why she doesn't just say her name straightforwardly... though she did say if she did tattletale on her, that she would come after her." She sighed.

"That doesn't sound like her at all." L. Joe stated. "She isn't that vulgar to do such a thing." "Well, you thought wrong." She bluntly said. L. Joe eye's slitted maliciously at her. "No offense." She brought both her hands up in defense. "But sometimes, the truth hurts. Some people happen to be two-faced." 'I've known her since rudimentary days. She would never do something like that. And she's absolutely not two-faced.' "Don't go making false accusations when you don't even know the person." L. Joe growled. "Oh, so you think you know her well enough to know she wouldn't do something like this?" She challenged. "I don't think, I know. I've known her since I was a child!" L. Joe proclaimed. "Well, people change. Don't they?" She asked. L. Joe paused. 'I didn't see her after the incident happened a long time ago. Could she really have changed?'

The girl sighed. "Since you don't trust me, why don't you go ask for the master mind's word for it. You'll know the truth then." She suggested. She sauntered past him. "By the way, when you find out her true identity, don't say I didn't tell you so~"

L. Joe gnashed his teeth together furiously. ' her!' He slammed his clenched fist into a locker, causing an unsightly dent to form. Some bystanders flinched at the noise, while she smirked. 'His reactions are cute.'

'I've got to get to the bottom of this.' L. Joe thought and headed towards the classroom where they always meet at. Once he arrived at the destination, he slid opened the door and peered inside. There stood, his friends and you, chatting and laughing brightly.

"Hey! Hyung's here!" Ricky grinned and waved at him. L. Joe kept a rigid, serious expression on which wiped the smile off Ricky's face. He put his hand down and whispered, "Guys, something's wrong with hyung." Chunji blinked at L. Joe. "Something wrong?" L. Joe shook his head and turned his attention to you. "~~~~~~, can I speak to you?" "Eh? Me?" You pointed to yourself. He nodded. The chair screeched as you got up and walked towards him.

Once you were out of the room, L. Joe slid the door shut so they could have privacy. He glanced around the vicinity and turned back to you.

"So, what is it? You seem so serious." You let out an awkward chuckle.

"Did you hear the rumors about you and Kyung Mi?" L. Joe questioned.

You furrowed your eyebrows. "There's a rumor about Kyung Mi and me?"

"I guessed you haven't." L. Joe said.

"No, I haven't." You confirmed. "What's the rumor about?"

"Well... it's about how Kyung Mi got beaten up by someone..." L. Joe started.

'She got beaten up by someone?! I hope they knocked some sense into her!' You grinned inwardly. 'Wait... that's not a very nice thing to say when someone's hurt... but she's not nice anyways...'

"And in the rumors, that someone is you."

You blinked at him at first, and then went to clean your ears. "Sorry, I think I misheard you."

"No, you didn't. They said you were the one who did it."

You jaw dropped in bewilderment. "What the hell is this?!" 'That's exactly what I thought when I heard this.' L. Joe thought

You paused in thought. "Don't tell me... the reason why you called me out here was to clarify if I was the one that did that to her, huh?" L. Joe curtly nodded. "Well, of course I didn't do it!" You completely denied. "You should know that I would never do something so wicked."

L. Joe's tensed muscle extricated promptly after knowing that you were innocent.

He sighed in relief and gave you a smile. "I knew you wouldn't do such a thing." "Yet, you still came to ask me. So you did doubt me." You crossed your arms and made a sullen face. "Well, you were pretty violent when you were younger..." L. Joe put his finger on his chin and gave you a suspicious look. You thwacked his arm and he recoiled back. "Like that." You rolled your eyes. "Well, since we're done with this problem, let's go back in."

You walked towards the door, but L. Joe grabbed your wrist at the last minute. You glanced over your shoulder curiously. "Wae?" "You'd never dare to lie to me, especially about what we just talked about, right?" L. Joe asked. You scowled. "Yah, do you even have an ounce of trust in me? I would never do something like this in the first place." You shook your head. "And to think your my best friend..." L. Joe chortled and patted your back. "Okay, okay. I'll stop talking about it." He slid open the door and stepped into the room.

"Welcome back." Changjo said.

"What did you guys talk about?" Chunji asked.

"Nothing important." L. Joe said and you nodded in agreement.

The bell rang all too soon, and everyone headed off towards their assigned classes.

'So the whole damn time, I was worried for nothing.' L. Joe clucked his tongue as he walked the corridors full of students scouring for their classes.

As he almost reached his class, something grabbed his arms and pulled him away from the crowded hall.

"What the fu-" "Hey." A familiar irritating voice squeaked.

', don't tell me it's her again...' L. Joe turned to look at her and his expression flattened along with his mood.

"What do you want now?" L. Joe sneered.

"Wow, vile much?" She said. "Well, I would be too. If I found out that one of my friends was two-faced."

L. Joe's eyes darkened with animosity. He towered over her and she was dauntlessly looked at him straight in the eye.

L. Joe hissed. "She's higher in standards compared to you so I suggest shutting the mouth of yours before you end up dead." "Oh, really? So someone with high standards go around and pick on-" "She had nothing to do what happened to Kyung Mi, so don't go making arbitrary assumptions." "Oh? How do you know for sure if you haven't heard Kyung Mi's answer herself? That girl could be lying to you."

L. Joe eyes flashed with anger. 'She would NEVER lie to me.'

'I think he's going to explode soon, I better step down.' "I'll be taking my leave." She raised her hand in farewell and walked away.

L. Joe watched menacingly as she left. 'I would've done something to her to shut her ing mouth by now if it wasn’t for Chunji. Damn him.' L. Joe raised his foot and with all his frustrations, kicked a trash can. The trash can flew nine feet, spilling it's content in the process.

The last bell rang. L. Joe groaned knowing he was late.

'Oh screw this, I'm skipping.' L. Joe thought and headed out.

One person peeped out from behind a wall and watched L. Joe's retreating figure.

'He really trusts that girl, doesn't he?' She shook your head.

"I'm sorry, oppa. But I'm afraid there's going to be more drama coming soon." She muttered her apology and disappeared behind the wall.
