When Sunggyu entered the flat on a Tuesday night, his forehead showed creases of worry and irritation, his eyebrows furrowed closely together in thought. He let out a shaky and heavy sigh as he walked to the foyer, switching the lights on as he did so. He shrugged his coat off and hung it in the coat cabinet and arranged his shoes to the side. He loosen his work tie and ed his collar. 

Even after retiring on the worn out leather couch, he was restless. His body was sore and aching from hard day at work in the lab but his mind was alert. He desperately needed sleep but the one thing he wanted was becoming harder for him to grasp. He groaned and raised his arm over his eyes to block out the dim light coming from the foyer. 

Every 5 minutes or so he would change his position on the couch: from placing the cushion underneath his head to putting it to the side to moving forward till his feet were hanging out to lying flat on his stomach. Sunggyu was so engrossed in trying to sleep that he didn't hear the door of one of the bedrooms opening. Haeyi at the age of 10 at the time, clutching onto her teddy bear tightly, she walked towards her older brother. 

She wasn't sure if he was having a nightmare since his eyes were still closed and his brows were closely knitted together like before. Her small hands gently shook his shoulder to wake him up. His eyes immediately flew open ready to scold the person from disturbing his sleep. However, when he saw Haeyi's eyes filled with worry and concerned, all anger seemed to wash away just from the sight of her. 

"Hae, what are you doing up?" Sunggyu asked. She hugged her teddy bear in front of her chest and burried her head on its head. "I couldn't sleep." she lied. In truth, she was fast asleep with her other brother Myungsoo but she woke up when she heard Sunggyu come in. Sunggyu sat up on the couch and squinted his eyes to look at the clock in front of him. He saw it was almost 1 in the morning. 

"You've school tomorrow, baby. Go back and sleep." he said gently her long hair but she shook her head all the same. "I can't sleep unless oppa sleeps with me." she said determined. She doesn't know what was going on with her older brother but she was not daft to not realized that it was work related. It's not that she never tried to ask her brother but he wasn't home most of the time and even if he was home, he was physically present but mentally he was just elsewhere. 

And today was one of those days. 

She stood there defiantly and Sunggyu sighed. "You are not going to leave until I do, huh." he asked tiredly. She shook her head and gave her best puppy dog look at him. He nodded. He did
