Chapter 12: Light
This is War: A Story of Friendship, Betrayal and LoveWhatever emotions Myungsoo was experiencing right now was etched on his porcelain face. It was deja vu.
His heart says one thing, to just shake her awake. He will be the knight in shining armour but his head told him otherwise. He can't be a fool. He had to be rational and most importantly he can't get attached to her.
Everyone he got attached to were either hurt or killed. It still haunts him: the what ifs playing in his head of that faithful day.
As much as he likes her, he can't bring himself to admit it to her because knowing deep down that if anything, the heavens forbid, happens to the sleeping girl next to him, he will never be the same again.
The day his sister died, he was never the same. He hid his emotions really well in front of his friends and his brother. He wore a different identity to the people around him but when he was alone, he was still Kim Myungsoo.
Hence, L was born.
He potrayed L as a heartless, cold and aloof character. A person who doesn't really care about other peoples feelings and he managed to pull it off well.
Till he met Julia that is.
With her around, he can't be L. He tried to not show his emotions in front of her but there was something about her that he was able to bring his guard down and that he is able to be Myungsoo again. Someone that is able to heal his wounds, fix the broken soul in him.
No you fool! You are a monster!
And of course, his brain was right as usual.
He was damaged beyond repair . He was a monster, a murderer.
He knew what he is capable of and he knew that he can do if he doesn't control that power that was not his in the first place. He looked down in his hands, his hands trembling when he saw the white bandage on his palm. He closed his eyes shut and knew that he had to get away from her.
He had to stay away not for his own, but for hers.
Because he will never be able to forgive himself if her blood was on his hands.
With one last look, he got up from the bed he shared with her and walked out of the room.

There was something off about Eunhae.
I could sense it when Hoya brought the red head back into Safe Haven.
"She saved my life." Hoya said when he reached the entrance. Sungyeol immediately keyed in the code to hide our whereabouts. We walked away from the entrance as Hoya began to explain his reason why he brought her here.
But I wasn't paying attention anymore.
I do not need to be a telepath to know there was something really wrong with this girl. He claims that she was captured, mistreated. I glanc
