Sandara's POV

Who is she? She's so beautiful...

"You 2 look like you've seen a ghost!" the lady in the white dress stomped her foot protesting. Is she talking about Donghae and Myungsoo? I turned to look at Myungsoo. He was smiling but it felt empty. I turned to the other side and saw Donghae smiling from ear to ear. I mean any guy could easily fall for a girl like her. She's tall, slim and her long hair emphasises the lady like features on her face. 

"Jiyeon-noona!" Donghae quickly left my side and ran towards the lady who was apparently called Jiyeon. She dropped all her belongings as Donghae lifted her up in the air. Then I felt a sudden sting in my chest. Who is she?

"Donghae let me go!" she giggled as she slightly punched Donghae's shoulder. 

"How come you didn't tell me you were coming?" he laughed as he rubbed his shoulder "that really hurt you know!" 

"I wanted to surprise everyone!" she exclaimed as she punched his other shoulder "and you deserved that! Lifting your noona so suddenly you pabo!" She was gigling to herself when she took a glance at me. "OMO! We're being rude." she placed her hand on then removed it to show a smile. "You must be Dara Park!" she started walking towards me with open arms. "It's just a hug!" she giggled as she forced to hug me. Then she looked at Myungsoo who was standing beside me. "Hi Myungsoo" she smiled blankly before turning her head towards me. 

"Nice to meet you too Jiyeon" I replied shyly feeling the difference between her and me. She's just way too perfect!

"I guess all those magazines were telling the truth! You really are pretty, especially in person." her eyes were wide open as she turned me from side to side inspecting every part of me. I couldn't help but blush at the compliment. 

"That's not true" I waved my hand at her still giggling at the fact she called me pretty. 

"Pshh don't be modest! No wonder why Donghae fell for you!" she winked before looking behind her and pushed out her tongue at Donghae who started walking towards us. I went blank at her last sentence. I felt a sting in my chest. No Jiyeon, he didn't fall for me. If ony he would....

"Noona you must be tired. Let's go! Tell me all about New York!" he chuckled nervously as he tried breaking the awkward silence. He then wrapped his arm around Jiyeon's shoulders before walking away. The stinging started to feel more painful as I tried to convince myself, Dara they're probably just friends, and besides, you're no one to him....no one... Then I felt Myungsoo's hand as he grabbed mine. He gave me weak smile. I couldn't tell what it was but he looked different. His smile felt empty but it was reassuring. I lifted my head up to look at the two people walking in front of me. Who are you really Jiyeon? What are you to Donghae and Myungsoo?

"Dara. Get the ride home with Myungsoo." he whispered before running towards his car where Jiyeon sat comfortably in the passenger's seat. I don't think I'll ever forget the sight of his back as he walked away.

(A few minutes later)

Author's POV

"Dara, are you cold?" Myungsoo asked worriedly as he the car's heater while driving. He was a calm driver but the sight of Dara made him feel nervous, like it was his first time driving. 

"I'm fine" she replied quietly taking a quick glance at Myungsoo who kept his eyes on the road. He was trying to seem calm but he couldn't take it anymore. He pulled over at the side of the road. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around Dara's shoulders. 

"I don't want you to get sick." he smiled reassuringly. His face was an inch away from Dara's face. He tried his best not to glance at her soft lips because he knew he wouldn't be able to stop his self. She looked directly into his eyes then he suddenly felt the pain. Dara was looking at him, but he knew in his mind that even though he was there, she couldn't see him. He slowly moved away without removing his eyes at Dara. He wanted her to see him. He wanted her to look at him without thinking of somebody else. Before he could fully move away and settle into his seat, unexpectedly Dara wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly. 

"I'm sorry..." she sighed as she buried her face between his neck and shoulder. She didn't know why she suddenly hugged him. The unfamilliar sight of Myungsoo made her feel responsible of all the things he was feeling. She wanted to be the one there for him this time. She wondered if she still loves Myungsoo. Is it guilt? Or feeling of pain after seeing her loved one hurt? Or did she only need his comfort? She didn't care what it was, all she knows is he is important to her.

"I want to keep you close to me forever." he sighed as he brushed his lips on Dara's hair, slightly kissing her head.

(The next day) 

Author's POV

Dara lied on her bed stiffly. She couldn't sleep last night. Her eyes wandered around the room as it slowly lit up because of the incoming sunrise. The thoughts of Myungsoo and Donghae was interrupted by the knocking at the door. She turned her head towars the clock. 

07:00AM

Is it that time already? She thought as she lazily walked towards the door. 

"Good morning sleepy head!" Jiyeon's voice woke Dara up from her dream land. She slightly fixed her hair as she noticed that Jiyeon was already dressed up. She was wearing a baby pink summer dress and the natural make up on her face emphasised the features on her face. While Dara stood in front of her wearing shorts that was hidden underneath her oversized white T-shirt. "Did you just wake up?" she tilted her head at one side while resting her chin on her fingers. 

"Yeah. Why are you up so early?" I asked curiously scratching my head as she invited herself into my room. 

"When you arrived with Myungsoo last night you went straight up to bed. I didn't want to disturb you so I'm here to tell you now that you, me, Donghae and Myungsoo will be going to Gyeongbokgung Palace today! So hurry up and get dressed." Dara stood in front of her blankly still trying to put everything together. She didn't understand what was going on. "Why are you just standing there? Take a shower!" she stood up and started pushing me towards the bathroom. "I'll wait for you downstairs." she winked before closing the bathroom door. 

(Dara) What just happened? Gyeongbokgung Palace? Me? Her? Donghae? Myungsoo?

Dara almost fainted as she finally understood the situation. She planned to stay away from Myungsoo and Donghae for a while to sort out everything in her head. 

(Dara) She's really nice but she is so wrong timing. 

Dara sulkly exited the bathroom before she noticed the dress that was layed out on her bed. She walked towars it curiously as she picked up the note that was placed on top of it.

It's a little gift from me to you! Wear it today!

Love Jiyeon, Fighting! 

She quickly looked into the mirror after getting ready. She curled her hair and put on a bit of make up today. She was also wearing heels which was her first time wearing heels just for a casual outing. She remembered that Jiyeon was wearing heels herself and convinced herself that everything will be ok.

(A few minutes later) 

"Jiyeon!" Dara called out after seeing Jiyeon's back. Even from the back she looked so feminine she thought. She had assets that Dara believed she lacked making her feel more embarrassed. She was struggling with her heels but she tried her best not to show it. 

"Finally. What took you so long?" Jiyeon grabbed both of her hands and started shaking them as she complained playfully. 

"Well I'm not really used to these kind of clothes." she admitted shyly before fidgeting with the hem of her dress. 

"Yah! Don't be like that! You look great!" she slapped Dara's bare arm softly before pulling her hands closer to her chest. "I can't imagine Donghae's face when he sees you!" she swung herself from side to side as she stared at the ceiling pretending to see heaven. Dara couldn't help but blush at the thought. She wondered how Donghae would react but she brushed the thought away after remembering Donghae's stubborn side. 

(Dara) He'll probably just laugh as soon as he sees me =.=

"Let's go, they're waiting outside." she squeled as she grabbed my wrist and started pulling me towards the door. Dara tried to complain and break free but Jiyeon was just too excited. "Hey boys, sorry we're late. Lady issues." she giggled as she stood confidently in front of the two gentleman. Dara on the other hand kept her eyes on the ground as she awkwardly fidgeted with her dress. She was too shy to notice how beautiful and attractive she looked. Myungsoo and Donghae couldn't keep their eyes off her as they both smiled inwardly. 

"You look beautiful Dara." Myungsoo tilted his head to the side and bent down slightly to get a better view of Dara's face. He tried to remain calm when Dara's eyes stared directly into his. She was blushing and so was he. He cleared his throat as he tried to stand up straight again. He knew if he looked at her any longer than he already had, things might happen.

"Thanks..." her face became brighter because of Myungsoo's compliment. It gave her more confidence somehow. Without the two noticing, Jiyeon and Donghae's facial expressions changed but he managed to control it before the other two notice.

"Let's go!" Donghae exploded, unintentionally raising his voice. When he noticed their surprised faces, he cleared his throat and repeated what he said more quietly, "Let's go."

Dara sat beside Myungsoo in the back seats, Jiyeon sat comfortably in the front passenger seat while Donghae drived quietly. Jiyeon was the reason why the journey felt less awkward. She continued to talk non-stop throughout the whole car ride while both of the guys sat quietly in their seats. Dara felt sorry for Jiyeon who couldn't grab the audience's attention so she attentively listened to her st
