Author's POV

Dara stayed upright on her bed as she read her book intently. The opened window whipped her hair past her face gently, with each strand flowing behind her slim back peacefully. Her brown eyes were widened as she scanned the book thoroughly. Her soft pink lips curved up to a small smile as the book reaches its . She was just simply beautiful, Myungsoo already knew that but that moment kept reminding him though he didn't need to be reminded. He was slowly falling for her more deeply if it was even possible. He couldn't keep his eyes off her and he couldn't help but smile at the image of her. He didn't know if it was worry, thinking the same thing would happen again if he ever looked away again even just for a second. Or maybe it was amusement, she was truly beautiful.

"Myungsoo you should get some sleep" she turned her head to meet his gaze suddenly. She tilted her head to one side while crinkling her nose. She was worried about him but he didn't know that. He was too preoccupied with worry and he wouldn't dare leave her even for a minute. 

"I'm not tired" he smiled warmly as he sat stiffly on the double seater couch in the room. He was still wearing the same clothes from 2 nights ago but he remained manly and handsome like always. She knew how worried he was and no matter what she says, he won't do it if it had anything to do with leaving. 

"I know you're tired, atleast get something to eat" she added as she placed the book on her lap face-down. She felt guilty knowing the fact that it was her fault he was acting like that. Behind those shining eyes he was traumatized but Dara didn't know it was that deep. She didn't know how scared he was of losing her. How he almost died after seeing her like that.

She stared at him for a while searching for any signs of problems. She knew he was hungry, tired and probably disgusted from watching nurses and doctors come in and out only to give no good news. From the looks of it, he wasn't even thinking of leaving or atleast moving. Dara turned her head back to her book thinking. She needed to get him to go and eat or sleep but how?

*Knock knock* 

Myungsoo jumped off the couch as soon as he heard the knocking. He had been waiting all day yesterday and this morning for some good news and he hoped this would be it. 

"Hi Ms. Park" the doctor smiled "Mr. Kim" she added as she turned her head to face him. She was surprised to see Myungsoo at the same place she had seen him everytime she was in that room. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of relationship he has with Dara, especially with Donghae around (A/N Yes Doctors knows the gossips too :P) but she knew client's personal life were out of the question.

"How are you feeling Ms. Park?" she started as she reached for Dara's end-of-bed files, scanning through every page checking if there was any abnormalities. 

"I feel a lot more better." she eplained as she curiously watched the doctor flip through her files. 

"Well I've got some good news.." she smiled turning towards Myungsoo first before returning her gaze back at Dara. She knew Myungsoo would be more happy after hearing the good news than Dara. She found that fact weird and interesting but she knew it was true. "You're blood test results came this morning and there were no signs of abnormalities."

"She can go home?" Myungsoo interrupted unintentionally but there weren't any signs on his face to show that he regretted it.

"I have spoken with the team regarding your discharge and we decided to let you go tomorrow morning" she nodded at Myungsoo and Dara, flashing them a smile before leaving as Myungsoo and Dara thanked her in unison. 

They were both happy to hear the good news but Dara could not even compare her excitement with Myungsoo. His whole body was flooded with both happiness and relief. At that moment Dara had an idea. 

"Myungsoo, could you get me a pair of new clothes for tomorrow. And some shower stuff as well please." she scratched her head trying to hide her true intentions. She figured Myungsoo would only go home if she needed something and it was worth a shot. 

"I'll be back as soon as I can." he finally decided after a few minutes of thinking. He wanted to stay with her but he wanted make sure she was comfortable too. There was a war of thoughts in his head when he finally decided to do what she asked. 

"No, just pick me up tomorrow morning. They probably won't let you in later anyway it'd be too late." she smiled menacingly. At that moment Myungsoo understood what she was trying to do. He was happy to know that Dara was worrying about him but at the same time he was annoyed that he needed to leave her. 

"I'll just buy you new clothes tomorrow morning." he crossed his arms and dived into the couch again. He was being stubborn and Dara couldn't help but giggle at his child like behaviour. He reminded her of his brother. The second the image of Donghae popped up in her head, she felt her chest tighten. Then all the memories from that night started coming back. He left her alone, in the dark, in the rain to be almost .

"Okay..." Myungsoo noticed her expression darken. He thought maybe she needed some time alone. "I'll come back first thing in the morning." he smiled. He slowly walked towards the bed an cupped Dara's face between his hands. Dara felt calm at his touch and she was thankful for that but at the same time she was angry at herself. Angry because she knew she'll never be able to take care of herself, she needed Myungsoo. Myungsoo pulled her closer to him, hugging her tightly. He gently kissed her forehead before pulling away. Dara waved goodbye as he slowly closed the door in front of him.

(The next morning) 

Sandara's POV 

I was forced to open my eyes as the sunlight brightly lingered on my face. I looked around the room only to find out I was alone. I thought Myungsoo would be already here even before I wake up but it seemed like I was wrong. I turned to my side as I reached out for my phone. 

9:45AM 

Omo it's already this late? I'm sure he's just tired.

*Knock knock*

"Good morning" Myungsoo peeked through the slightly opened door. I couldn't help but feel relieved after seeing his happy face.

"Good morning" I smiled back
