Author's POV

"I love you Donghae. Forever and always."

What he felt was undescribable, no word could ever be enough to describe what he was feeling. Slowly he slid his hands behind her waist and pulled her closer to him, so close that their hearts fought for dominance.

"I love you so much Dara." he whispered ever so sweetly and an angelic smile formed on Dara's face. 

Gently she placed her palms on both side of his cheeks and pulled him closer. Donghae closed his eyes as he felt her plant a kiss on his forehead. The heat of her lips and the warmth of her kiss sent a shiver down his spine.

He tightened his grip around her waist and buried his face in her neck. The smell of her shampoo lingered in his nose. She smelled beautiful, everything about her was beautiful and Donghae wanted to know more. He wanted to memorize every single thing about her. How she scrunches up her nose when she was annoyed, he wanted to know what makes her happy and what makes her sad. He knew forever wouldn't be enough but he was prepared for it. 

Slowly Dara pulled herself away from him and as soon as their gazes met once again, Donghae immediately noticed the sorrow in her eyes. 

"Donghae can we....." she paused as she looked away, trying to look for the right words to say yet nothing came out of . "....can we keep this between you and me?"

The blank face that formed on his face made it difficult for her to finish yet she knew she had to continue. 

"It's just that Myungsoo...." 

She bit her lips and her whole body tensed up as she waited for his answer. She knew it was selfish and that he would be hurt. After all this time of waiting and running away from temptation and in the end they would hide everything from everybody. It was cruel yet it was the right thing to do.

A few seconds later he reached for her hands and squeezed them tightly between his. 

"I understand." he whispered while his expression remained unchanged. 

He was hurt. He was sad. He was angry. He hated it but he understood where she was coming from. 

He knew even if this was hurting him, he couldn't even imagine how hurt his brother would be. Dara picked him, not Myungsoo. He knew Myungsoo needed time, time to heal, time to think and time to find someone who would love him as much as he loved Dara.

"I trust you." he smiled giving her ease.

Slowly he started leaning closer to her once again and Dara closed her eyes instantly, waiting for their lips to touch once again. But as each second passed, she became more and more impatient. 

When she opened her eyes, a smirk welcomed her sight. 

"You know you're getting too used to my kisses." he chuckled lightly, raising a brow as he did so. 

Dara couldn't help but blush at his comment. It was true, maybe she was getting too used to that which was clearly embarrassing for her. 

"Am I that attractive Dara?" the corner of his lips curled up to a more annoying but cute smirk making Dara turn into a colour of a tomato. 

"N-no!" she defended but the colour of her cheeks answered yes. 

"Really?" again he leaned closer towards her while she bent back trying to move as far away from him as possible but when she noticed he wouldn't stop, she reached out her hand and flicked his forehead hard. 

The sound of her nail hitting his skin echoed in the room. She could also feel the pain on her finger so obviously she did it harder than she intended. 

"I'm sorry!" she gasped, covering as she watched his face scrunch up with pain. 

"Dara..." he murmured lightly, taking a deep breath before he fully opened his eyes.

"I'm sorry.." she apologized sincerely this time, feeling guilty for her childish behaviour.
