LUHAN's POV

“Umma, I am tired, I'll just skip dinner” I said while sitting inside my mother's office

“NO. This is a very important dinner, you have to be with your wife. Your CEO is coming as well as the models from Europe, you have to meet them as well, you are our heir in the first place” Dad answered instead of my mom who only sits on her chair, avoiding to look at me

“Why do I even have to be there with HER?!”

“Because she is your wife and your future lies with being with her”

I rolled my eyes, unable to accept the fact that what my father have said is the truth..

“Mimi, honey, can you leave me with our son for a while?”

“Song Quian, you better talk to your son, aish”

I looked at my mom as soon as she closed the door after my dad left and was met with a very stern face, “What's going on?”

“What's going on?” I asked back

“I thought you were trying to be fine with her”

“I am, but mom it's not that easy...”

“LuHan, you are a celebrity and people know that you are married, you have to go public whether you like it or not. You have to show the public that you are a good husband to your wife and I think that this is the best time to show that”

“What about Yoona? She is getting hurt each time”

“If Yoona really loves you and trust you, this will be ok with her, besides you will be divorced after a year though if you will ask me, I'd rather have a grandchild from Sunny...”

“Mom..” I began to whine but was stopped from the tender kiss that my mom planted on my left cheek

“You're a grown up already Lulu, you have the freedom to choose what you want though being married to Sunny is an exception. But if the time comes that you fell in love with her then be it and if you will stick with your love for Yoona then it is also fine with me. You are my son, above all, and I care and love you. What your dad and I want is for your betterment, arasso?”

Instead of answering, I just simply got up and pulled my coat..

“Where are you going?”

“I need to prepare for the dinner with my wife mom”

My mom smiled and fixed my coat for me then kissed my cheeks again, “OK, I will see you at 8. Don't be late and please be careful while driving...”

I kept on thinking about my mom on my way to the house, no matter how I try to be stubborn I always end up like a little puppy trying to please his mistress when I am around her.

As I reached the gravel way, I saw Sunny sitting on the swing in the garden with a shawl wrapped around her shoulders... shoulders... then I remembered what I did... My stomach is churning, I don't know why I am nervous to see her, I don't know if I should say sorry or what... Eotteokae?

I casually walked to the house with my hands on my side, avoiding to look at her but then...

“Yah...” she yelled which made me stop on my tracks

“What?” I asked

“I need a driver” she simply said

I stared at her for a moment as if what she said is the dumbest thing on earth...

“You can drive” I answered but then I remembered the stern face of my mom, aish... now she's my conscience?!

“My shoulders are not in good shape, they are quite painful”

Is she trying to make me feel guilty?!

“I accidentally bumped the glass door when I got home, yeah I know I am stupid you need not to say that, now can I ask the Almighty Luhan, EXO's Visual to please drive me to the restaurant for the dinner that his parents have arranged?”

Sunny Lee, how can you really be so stupid? Feeding your mind with lies though we both know that it was me who did that to you? Seriously, you are really stupid.. “Sure, anyway, I can't let my wife go alone. I just have to fix myself to look presentable” I answered

“Gomawo, don't worry, I will not bother you when we arrive there, you could be with Yoona ssi”

I nodded and walked to the house again when I found myself walking toward her instead, “I think you have to fix yourself as well. A lot of beautiful people will be there, you don't want to look ugly I assume” I said and offered my hand for her

She looked at me and then at my hand then smirked and stood up, “My shoulders are in pain but it doesn't mean that I am paralyzed” she said and walked off

I took a quick shower and dressed up when I noticed Yoona's 8 missed calls and a voicemail : baby... I love you... I will see you later

My lips stretched, forming a smile... I love you too...

Casually, I knocked on her door as soon as I finished dressing up, “It's time”

“I'm coming” she answered so I just waited outside her room but it's already been 10 minutes so I knocked again, “I'm coming” she said yet again

“Can't you hurry up a bit?” I asked

“I just have to fix this.” she answered

“Do you need any help?”

“Go away”

But rather than taking her word, I turned the door knob and found her struggling to zip her dress up... Oh God... I am not a vampire but at that moment all I want is to place my lips on her neck where her veins are pumping blood, “Let me help you” I said and removed her hand and zipped her dress up

My body has gone stiff while I did that and I know that she stopped breathing as well but neither of us admitted. “Thank you” she said as she turn around to face me

Step back... Step back... that's what my mind kept on telling me but I was mesmerized by the person in front of me that though we are only an inch apart, I didn't dare to step back... I smelled chanel no. 5 and her toothpaste is peppermint... her shampoo is strawberry-scented and....

“Yah, gwaenchana?” she asked as she snap her finger in front of me, dragging me back to the real world

Sunny Lee is wearing a white dress that accentuated her figure yet I can't help but to stare at her bare shoulders where bluish marks formed hours ago,

“Don't worry, I used a concealer so they won't show” she answered to my unspoken question

“Let's go, it's time” I said and offered her my arm

“Save your sweetness for the media later” she said and went out

The drive to the restaurant was filled with silence but inside my mind was different... Two LuHan are arguing..

LuHan1: Just talk to her, there's nothing wrong with that

LuHan2: Just shut up, anyway, you need not to talk to her, you just have to act in front of many people later

LuHan1: Why do you have to be so cruel with her?

LuHan2: Why do you need to be kind? She's just nobody, Yoona will be in the dinner later

LuHan1: There's nothing wrong with opening your heart for friendship, look at her, she's beautiful tonight

LuHan2: So? She's just one ugly girl who is the reason why you can't go public with your real love

“It's the red light, stop” she said, holding my hand

My foot stepped on the brake as she is his master and I looked at her directly on her eyes...

“LuHan, keeping your eyes on the road is not enough, use your mind as well.” she said with bitterness

“I know it's the red light, I'm not stupid” I shot back

“If you said so” she answered and leaned back on her seat

Sunny and I arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes before 8pm and as expected, a group of reporters were waiting outside... I parked the car in front and held Sunny's hand before she could open her door, “I'll do it” I said and quickly stepped off my car to open her door

She smiled at me and took my hand and for that moment, I felt so proud being with a pretty lady..

“Mister Zhou, let me park your car in the basement” The valet whispered behind me and I handed him my car keys

“Miss Choi, it's the first time that you went out with your husband for a public event, what can you say?” a reporter asked after she blocked our way

“I prefer being called Miss Lee or Mrs. Zhou *smiles* and being out in a public event with my husband is one of the best moments of my life” she answered

Sunny and I then walked to have some photo-offs with the media and acted like a happy pair...

“Mr. and Mrs. LuHan Zhou, welcome, welcome” the hostess greeted us as soon as we went inside

“Where are my parents?” I asked

“They will be here soon, you were the first people to arrive actually” she said

“I thought this will just be an ordinary dinner” Sunny commented

“Well, in the world of the rich and famous, ordinary things are always extra-ordinary”the hostess answered, “And by the way, you look really good together, I wonder when I will see a bouncing little LuHan or Sunny”

“My husband and I aren't yet thinking of having kids as of the moment actually” Sunny answered, leaning her head on my shoulder

“Well I hope you guys will have a forever happy marriage, you know, your husband is a handsome young man, a lot of girls will surely try to take him away from you..”

“I could kill if that's the case” Sunny answered again and looked on my left... “I think another visitor has arrived” she said

“Oh my God, Yoona ssi!” the hostess exclaimed and excused herself...
