Chapter 6: Cheesecakes

Daehyun was walking along the street on the way home when a shop made him stop from walking. He turned his head and behind a glass, was his favorite food, cheesecakes.

Ye Seul noticed that Daehyun’s not near her anymore. She spun around and saw Daehyun looking at the tasty food. She grinned and ran to him. She clutched into Daehyun’s arm. “Do you want some? I’ll treat you!” she squealed and pulled Daehyun inside the shop.

He was taken aback by her actions and when they arrived inside, he angrily took his arm off her. Ye Seul pouted and pulled his wrist. “Here,” she handed him a tong. “Choose whatever you want. Since you accompany me at school, I’ll treat you.” She winked and started picking some cakes for her other oppas.

Daehyun looked at the tongs and to the cheesecakes that looked like they are calling him. *No, Daehyun. Don’t let that tokki fool you.* he dropped the tongs and was about to walk outside when Ye Seul pulled his jacket back. He rolled his eyes and glared back at her. “Oppa, just get what you want! I promise to pay for them.” She pleaded.

“Hands off.” He growled under his breath.

“No! Not until you buy what you like!” she securely grips on his jacket and raised her nose up.

Daehyun walked at the counter again where the cakes were placed while Ye Seul followed him behind. He picked one cheesecake and handed it to Ye Seul. “There! Happy now?! Let go!” he pulled his jacket back from Ye Seul’s hands.

Ye Seul grinned. “I knew it. You love cheesecakes! Now I know what my Daehyun oppa likes!” she smiled and ran to the cashier to pay for the cakes.

Daehyun’s eyes slightly widened and his chest suddenly did the flip-flop thing when he heard the words, ‘my Daehyun oppa’. He swallowed hard and tries not to think about it. He immediately walked outside. “Oh!” Ye Seul quickly grabbed the plastic bag and ran outside to follow Daehyun.

“Oppa, here, your cheesecake.” She handed him the cheesecake she bought for him but Daehyun just stared at it. “You don’t like it?” he didn’t respond.
