Chapter 55: Detention Date

Daehyun and Ye Seul stood in front of the Principal who is reading their detention slips. He lowered his reading glasses and looked at them. “You two are the only ones who got detention this day. So, you just need to clean the classroom of… 1-C.”

They both blinked in shock. It was Zelo’s room and in the whole freshmen high schoolers, their classroom was the dirtiest and worst room to clean at. Even the maintenance at their school hates to clean it.

Daehyun and Ye Seul stood up in the middle of Zelo’s room. Ye Seul gulped while hugging the dry cloth on her chest. It was a disaster. Papers were everywhere, crumpled or not. Tables and chairs were in different directions. The chalkboard was full of writings. There are no spaces to write on already.

Ye Seul and Daehyun started cleaning already. Ye Seul took the erasers and erased the writings on the board. She reached the top most part as she tip-toed. She coughs and sneezed cutely as she does it. Daehyun who is fixing the tables looked at her and chuckled.

She opened the windows and dusted the erasers. “Achoo~” she sneezed again and sniffed as she rubbed her nose with the blazer of her uniform. She walked to get the broom but Daehyun cupped her cheeks and examined her face.

He wiped the chalk dusts on her cheeks and nose with the sleeve of his uniform. Ye Seul blinked and blushed.

Once in a while, Daehyun would always look at Ye Seul and smile. He rolled the sleeves of his uniform. “What’s your first impression of me?” Daehyun suddenly blurted a question to break the silence between them.

Ye Seul straightened up and looked at him. “Eh?”

“You heard me.” He said without looking at her.

She looked up and tries to remember, “First impression? You were really quiet and the coldest one.”

“My first impression to you? Really annoying and kind of the girls I really hate.” He said even if Ye Seul didn’t ask him. But this made her to pout and chuckled in disbelief. He straightened up, “Yah!” he called.
