I only miss you when I'm breathing
The next morning L.Joe was the first one to wake up. Sora's face was very close to his and he stared at her in surprise.
He quickly moved away from her and got up. The headache and the fever disappeared, only the coughing was still there.
She doesn't mind when I take a shower, does she?
After a quick shower, he couldn't resist and looked around the house. He saw the library with the beautiful piano and a lot of books.
At last, he ended up in Sora's room.
His eyes landed on a shelf with a lot of CD's. He approached the CD shelf. Isn't it the woman she stared at the CD shop? So she's really a fan?
He walked around the room and then found a picture of a woman, a guy and a little girl. Is that her family? Wait isn't this the woman on the album covers?
>>What are you doing?<<, a voice snapped.
Sora snatched the photo out of his hands and put it back on the desk.
>>I don't like people coming in my room. Especially not without permission.<<
>>I'm sorry.<< He gave her his puppy eyes.
>>Stop that<<, she hissed.
>>Didn't know you were so strict about your room.<<
>>Hm.<<
>>I should go home now.<< He went back into her fathers bedroom and took his schoolbag.
>>Thank you for comforting me well. I feel better now. I owe you something.<< He smiled and went out of the door.
As L.Joe closed the door behind him, he saw a guy standing on the other side of the street. The person quickly hid behind a tree.
What's this? L.Joe wondered but then shrugged it off and continued his way home.
>>And what did you do on your weekend?<<, Chaejin asked as they separated from his friends on Monday. Sora still didn't bothered to make friends with them.
>>Nothing special.<<
>>Lie~.<< He grinned.
>>Well. . .On Friday, you saw L.Joe and me, didn't you?<<
>>A L.Joe story? Interesting.<< Chaejin sat down on a bench. It was lunch time and they just came out of the cafeteria.
>>Not in that way<<, Sora said. >>First of all, there was this annoying girl so he claimed that I was his girlfriend. We walked outside of the school and he asked me if we could do something and then he did his devil-puppy eyes, so I said yes. We then went to Lotte World. I'm a roller coaster fan, by the way. But while we were there, he became ill. It was a flu or something. He brought me home but he felt weak and stuff, so I told him to stay at mine. He fell asleep. . .<<
Chaejin clapped exited. >>What happened then? Some of these super-cute-romantic things which only happen in movies?<<
>>He was cold, so I handed him my blanket, when he was asleep I wanted to get it back, but he hold on to it. I then laid down next to him.<<
>>And then? Did he hugged you? Tell me~.<<
Sora nodded. >>And L.Joe has the habit to talk while he sleeps.<<
>>Like me!<<
>>Whatever. . .I think I heard him saying my name.<<
Chaejin's eyes became bigger. >>So he remembers you!<<
>>The next morning, however. . <<
>>Oh the story goes on? This is like a book, continue.<<
>>Never seen you this excited.<<
Chaejin scratched his head. >>I have my moments sometimes.<<
>>Well, I got up and cooked a soup for him. He ate it, but still had a fever so I told him to stay and we watched TV. I saw MYNAME's performance on M! Countdown, by the way. I asked him if he could remember what he had dreamed of, but he said no. So actually he doesn't remember me.<<
>>Is that good or bad?<<
She shrugged her shoulders. >>I don't know.<<
>>Would there be a difference?<<
>>I don't know.<<
>>Okay. . .well, how does the story end?<<
>>He fell asleep and I spend the day doing nothing much, then I gave him the rest of the soup and then the same things like the night before happened.<<
>>Maybe he did that on purpose.<<
>>I don't think so. There's no reason for that. Well, however, he woke up before me and went into my room. He had a picture of … my family in his hands. I think he didn't recognized me, my dad or my mother. . .<<
Chaejin nodded understanding. >>I've noticed something. But the question is if you noticed it too.<<
>>What?<<
>>That you've become me more talkative?<<
>>L.Joe pointed that out too. But I'm only around you, and maybe him, like that.<<
Chaejin nodded again. >>I think you should get closer to him.<<
>>Huh?<<
>>I mean, that you were a totally different person before coming here, right?<<
>>What do you mean?<<
>>How did a normal day looked like for you before?<<
>>I got up, ate breakfast, played my instruments, got lessons from my aunt and then played my instruments again. . .<<
>>Now your days look a bit different, huh? You go out on the weekends and you have me as your new friend. You even smile sometimes.<<
>>And what does that have to do with L.Joe?<<
>>I taught you to smile and to talk. L.Joe will teach you how to forgive and to laugh.<< He suddenly chuckled. >>That sounded cheesy.<<
>>I get what you mean though.<<
