Friends OR Forever
“What happened?” Jongsuk asked upon entering the ICU.
He put his stethoscope and start on examining him, he place the disc-shaped resonator against his chest, while the two tubes connected to his ears. He also checked his abdomen by putting a little pressure, his blood pressure and miraculously it turn out to be a bit okay except of his lungs.
“Jaejoong, can you hear me?” He asked while checking his eye with a light. “If you can hear me, move your hand.”
Jaejoong blink and made a small move of his right fingers follow by a soft groan that was suppressed by an oxygen that was still connected on his mouth…
“Give him some shots of his medicine afterwards you can remove the ventilator and the other machines connected from him except the oxygen.” He said and turning his view back at jaejoong with a light smile. “Don’t worry, you’re okay now.”
Jaejoong was transferred at the same private ward as lisa. While Mrs. Kim and Hyunjoo left to talk to Jongsuk at his office about jaejoong’s condition. Lisa on the other hand were just on seating position while she was watching the nurses, assist on jaejoong’s. Checking his oxygen, pulse and temperature. When jaejoong was brought at the same ward as hers, he was already asleep and until now he haven’t gotten awake again.
When the nurses were done and about to leave from the room, lisa called one of them…
“How was he? I thought they said he’d awaken.” Lisa asked sounding worried.
“He’s fine. Its just the medicine shots that we gave him earlier, is just that we need to keep him with oxygen since he’s still having a hard time to breathe on his own.” The nurse answered politely.
“So when will he’ll be awake again?”
“Anytime soon. He will be.”
Lisa nodded thoughtfully… “Thanks.”
After the nurses left the room, lisa went to jaejoong as his bed was just on her life side. Slowly, she sat above his bed just right beside him.
