"I ran out of options so I ended up choosing the worst one"​

My life flashes before my eyes. The shocks going through my body makes my heart beat go fast. Just what the happened? More and more shocks. Then I finally can open my eyes. I see a bright light bleaming into my eyes, what the hell is that? People were surrounding me. My body feels weak as if I can't even budge to move. I turn my head seeing Taehyung on the floor, my vision starts to distorts. Screams echoing into my ears but a silence corrupts it. Just where I am?

The dark void consumes me once again. I want to wake up but have no strength. It's like a nightmare where you want to wake up from but you can't. All these voices were still yelling.
"Get the supplies!" "Hurry up and save him!" "He's knocked out!". I feel like I'm on the borderline of being dead and alive. I could overhear a female's voice. "Jungkook, please . . .please wake up for me, for Taehyung, . . .for Jimin". Jimin. That's when my vision comes back. The light still bleaming at me. I feel hair brushing against my face. I slowly open my eyes, seeing a blurry image of Nini's crying face, holding my hand.
"Jungkook! You are going to live!" Her grip on my hand comforts me. Then another shock hits me, then my vision distorts again. "NO! NO! WAKE UP!!" Her screams echoes into my darkness. Sinking in further. I'm in my dreams once again.

" . . .Jungkook . . .," I could still hear her cries. I didn't what to do. I'm not able to even wake up. I end up walking deeper into the ocean of darkness. Still hearing many voices in my head. "Save him . . .save him please". "Ma'am calm down". "I need you to please . . .". "He's fine right now. Just sleeping, if this happens again make sure to notify us". "Sir, what do think happened . . .?". "Somebody pulled his life support. Or at least almost did".
Life support? Somebody almost pulled it. . . . .who did? "Jungkook, please. Jimin needs you . . .". Her voice fades and I could no longer hear their voices. I sit there in my darkness. How the am I going to wake up? I'm stuck in a rut. "Jungkook, don't you dare give up. Just remember that you have someone to live for". Taehyung's voice finally echoes into my darkness. "I'll do the same along with you".
"Taehyung. We both could make it," I know he can't hear me in my mind but I can hear everything.
"You're right," his laugh echoes loudly. He . . .heard me?. "Damn. At least you can whisper though . . .". Oh he barely heard me. But at least I know I'm in between the darkness and the real world. I just want to back into Jimin's arms.

After a few hours, my vision comes back slowly. I barely could open my eyes, so I could barely see. My body feels numb, so I can't even feel anything at all. Then a dark figure appears in front of me. "Jungkook, I'm sorry . . .". Seokjin. That was his voice. "Your surgery was unsuccessful. I wish I could've made it in time because the new surgeon ed up. I failed as a doctor".
"I-it's fine.  . .," My voice is barely audible. " . . .you could at least save Jimin for me".
 "I will save the both of you," he starts to cry hysterically. "I promise. Nobody is going to die under my care". If only I can move and hug him for trying and not going insane like before, but my lips curve into a smile.
"I'm proud of you Seokjin," He cries even more hearing my words.
"Thank you for having faith in me," He gets up abruptly. "You don't need any treatments anymore but I'll make sure that I give the best antibiotics for your infection and you can heal fast like Jimin".
"Jimin's not sick   . . .?" I'm confused, didn't he had an infection that could be cancerous?
"His infection is healing and . . .," he pauses for a long time. "But your infection gotten worse".

He leaves me speechless and left. My infection is slowly taking my life away. I can't believe I might die. I guess the odds are not in my favour. There is no way my infection could heal. But is there another way? They already shock me with those heart thingys and now I'm basically barely hanging onto life. Just what happened to me? Did I ignore my own pain building up inside of me?
"K-kookie?" His voice already brightens the darkness. I slightly open my eyes.
"I'm sorry about my brother . . .," Jimin's voice cracks. "I wish we could just be happy together".
He kisses my eyelid and my forehead. If only I could move, I didn't even budge. But my heart is racing. He then kisses my lips, my god. I try my best to kiss back. I could hear his snorts already. "I love you . . ."
