Chapter 39

“Siwon Oppa.”

“Hey, Yuri.” He said, leaning against the door. Yunho had surely almost busted his ribs.

She was shock to see him looking like that. His face was all bruised up & bloods were showing through his bandages. He looked tired with his half-closed, bruised eyes.

"Are you okay?” She asked, too afraid to move towards him. He looked dangerous with his huge frame.

“Yunho & Jessica.” He said.

Yuri frowned, “What about them? Yunho’s at home now & Jessica, I think she’s at.” Yuri trailed off, as Siwon tilted his head. He knew something that she doesn’t. He was giving her a hint that she didn’t want to know or figure out. Even if the man was hurt, she didn’t want to touch him. She knew of his heart already & he maybe playing a nasty trick, “What are you really doing here, Oppa?” She asked.

Siwon couldn’t help but smile, “Yunho’s at Jessica’s hotel room now.”

Yuri shook her head, “No. Yunho only goes whenever I go with him over to Jessica’s. He never goes without me.”

“Ah. You got it wrong there, sweetheart.” Siwon said. He could see her body shivering as he said that. She was afraid of him after what she had seen at the hospital, “He’s over there now, trust me.”

“You don’t know what you are saying Oppa.” Yuri said.

“& you don’t know what Jessica & Yunho are doing right now.” He took a step inside. Yuri stepped back, holding onto her stomach. She could call the servants but she can take this herself.

“Leave right now, Oppa. I don’t want to see you here.” Yuri said in a trembling voice. She couldn’t help it but hug herself. His dark look was creeping her out but she held her head high.

“Why are you afraid of me? You weren’t the first time we met.”

“I’m not afraid of you Oppa. I just want you out of this house.” ‘Oh god, Yunho Oppa, where are you?’ She thought.

“If your not afraid of me, prove it.” Siwon said huskily. He moved towards her in quick strides. Yuri stumbled back & held her place. He touched her cheeks. She flinched & slapped his hands away.

“You are crazy, Oppa! I’m married!” Yuri exclaimed, glaring at him.

He just smiled down at her, “Then do it like you are not married. I know you were force to marry that man. You never loved him.”

“It doesn’t matter if I do or not. I’m married & will respect Yunho.”

He growled, “You take marriage too seriously! That man doesn’t want you! He’s down at Jessica’s hotel room now!”

Yuri trembled. He was lying. He has to be, “What do you want with me?”

He looked down at her, “I want you to go see that I’m telling the truth. You wouldn’t like it though.”

“I’m not going anywhere with you if you think that I will.”

“You don’t need, too. You can just go by yourself.” He smiled, “Are you going?”

Yuri didn’t answer him. He shrugged carelessly & walked away, “It’s your choice now, Yuri. Jessica can ruin your life.” He called, with his back to her. She slammed the door shut & cry. It wasn’t that she believed him but at the way he had touched her. She couldn’t get rid of the nasty feelings. His rough hands on her had made her almost want to scream. She didn’t like it at all. He was a pompous ert just like Yunho had called him! Yuri wiped away the tears & placed a damp cloth on her cheeks. She rubbed his touch away & cry at the hard, slapping pain. It was still there, sticking onto her. Yuri scrubbed even more but stopped. She was too tired. It wasn’t any use. His touch was permanent forever on her.

Her tears kept falling down. She felt a sharp, stabbing pain kick her stomach. Yuri crunched down & hugged her stomach. She closed her eyes but still, tears fell down. The twins were kicking her too hard. She wasn’t ready for this. First Siwon & then the pain. Yuri bit her lips. Blood started to rolled down her chin. She didn’t dare wipe it away while trying to hold her big belly. If she let go, she will feel like she was letting go of her babies. She held her tense muscle. The pain started to decrease. She let out a small breath & then more when the pain went away but there was a pain inside of her that was different from the kick of the babies & the pain Yunho had given her. Yet, she couldn’t get to the pain. It was in there, stuck. Like something was missing.

Yuri didn’t want to go see the truth of Siwon’s words. She didn’t want to see Yunho lying on the bed with Jessica. She didn’t want to see his arms wrap around her tightly & his lips on her cheek. She would rather feel the pain than see the pain.

“I love you so much, Yunho Oppa.” Yuri whispered. She fell onto the bed restless. She wanted to dream the dreams of paradise. She wanted to get away from reality & into the whiteness of dreams. The pain was still bad. There were a lot of pains to describe. Pains that she almost couldn’t reach it.

Yunho stood at the doorway of Yuri’s bedroom. He had heard the words of her love to him. He wanted to cry out to her but what would he say? Would he say that he loved her? He was emotionless. How could he love her when he felt nothing for her at all? He didn’t want to love her. Or does he? He didn’t know what he felt about her. He was falling for her but not as falling for love. He only fell for her beauty & sweetness. She was so lovely but he did complete his big mission. Yunho had wanted to make her fall for him & he did. Now, he felt guilty about what he did. He shouldn’t have done that. His charms had worked on her. She had fallen in love with him so easily just like he wanted her to.

He sighed & raked his hand through his hair. What had he just done? He had hurtled women before in his life & never cared but hurting Yuri was a different thing. He doesn’t deserve her. She deserve someone that loves her & that someone wasn’t him. He didn’t love her. Why did she have to fall for him that much? He really didn’t want to hurt her more than he did already. Maybe he should just give himself some time to think about it. He really does need to get away from this stress.

Yunho peeked through the half-close doors. She was sounded asleep. He took one last look & turned away. Yunho walked down the stairs & got back into his car. He slammed his forehead onto the steering wheel.

Jessica was gone already. She had went back to the States where he was sure Siwon could never find her. She wanted to start a new life with her baby & get away from all men. They had hurtled her enough & she had hurtled them enough. Surely, a new place & life would accept her.

Yunho banged his forehead onto the steering wheel again. Damn that man! Yunho was mad as a bull now. He was furious at what Siwon had done. He was angry at making Yuri love him & he was definitely incensed at not loving Yuri when she loves him. Everything was going the wrong way.

Yunho looked up as Yuri entered his office. He didn’t pick her up like he usually did. He didn’t inform her about his not picking her up but she was here before him. That surprised him but he pushed it out of his mind. He was still under what had happened last night. His mind couldn’t help but think well at all. He had trouble sleeping last night. In fact, he didn’t even sleep at all.

Yuri looked quiet & mad. She didn’t look at him but looked down as she handed him the information for today’s schedule, “The nine o’clock meeting is cancel. Mr. Jang couldn’t make it.”

He took the papers from her, “Thank you.” He mumbled, & went back to his work. His pen was getting beat up with his hard pushing onto the paper.

Yuri nodded but didn’t move. She looked at him while he continued writing. She fidgeted with the end of her black long sleeve collar knit side panel maternity top.

Yunho just continued writing. He didn’t know what he was writing but continued anyway. His muscle everywhere was tensed. He didn’t feel like being with her now. He did before but now, he didn’t know what she would say next. Will she tell him face to face that she loves him? He didn’t want her, too. He didn’t want to hear those sweet words coming out of . He could hurt her & he didn’t want to.

He finally put down his pen & looked up into her beautiful face. She looked pale & sick. His heart started to pump up unwontedly & worriedly.

“Do you need anything?” He asked, raising his eyebrows. Yunho settled back & put his arms behind his head. He did looked uncaring but really, he did.

“You didn’t visit me last night like you promised. I was worry. Where were you?” She asked anxiously.

He sighed, “I was at Jessica’s hotel room last night. She had some trouble & called me. I should had called you.” He said, & crossed his arms.

“Oh.” Was all that she could say. She looked down at her feet but her grown stomach blocked her way. Siwon was saying the truth but was he saying the truth about Yunho sleeping with Jessica?

“You didn’t wait up for me, did you?” He watched as she tried to smile but failed.

“Will I...no.”

“You look tired, Yuri. Are you trying to lie to me? You need your rest.” He said.

She bit down on her bottom glossy pink lips at his little, harsh tone, “I did, Yunho Oppa.”

Yunho stood up & walked to the window to look down at the city of Seoul. He watched her from the reflection of the window. He didn’t think he would have said that with a harsh tone, “I’m sorry.”

She brushed his apology away, “Siwon visited me last night. He told me…”

“He what?” Yunho walked three quick strides to Yuri, “Did he touch you? Did he hurt you? Oh, god. You should have call me, Yuri.”

“How could I when you were at Jessica’s place making out with her!” She cried out. Oh god, she didn’t mean to burst out like that.

Yuri turned away. She walked quickly to the door & opened it but a hand shut the door with a bang. She turned back around & met Yunho’s face which was only two inches away. His nostrils were flaring & his face was mad with animosity. He slammed both of his hands on the door, trapping her.

“What the hell are you talking about?!” He yelled, with rage. She trembled. A hot, doubling tear fell down her face. She didn’t brush it away but let it fall through her flesh.

“He...He...Siwon told me that...”

“Damn with that man! What did he say to you last night?!” Yunho asked, with a growl.

“He told me that you were at Jessica’s place &...&...”

“& you believe the man?”

“No. I had to see it with my own eyes to believe it.”

“Then why did you say that to me, Yuri?” Yunho asked in a low voice.

Yuri choked out a small cry, “You never go there without me, Oppa. I would have believed it if I saw you there alone with her.”

“I wasn’t there alone with her.” Yunho raked his hand through his hair. He closed her eyes & walked away sharply. He leaned against the windowpane & stared out blankly, “Siwon was there, beating Jessica up. I got there in time to stop him from going any further & killing the baby inside of her.” Yunho squeezed his eyes shut again, & opened it, “She was badly bruised up. It looked like he was going to her. I beat the crap out of the man. He got the last breath to walk away, luckily not seen by me.” He heard Yuri’s sharp gasps, “Then Siwon hired a man to drug me & Jessica. He kept trying to make Jessica & I drink it. She wasn’t in a good position though & I was with my last long tempered. I beat up the man after he begged me to drink it about a thousand of times. Then he was stupid enough to tell me the truth that Siwon paid him to drug us. I let the man go. He wasn’t any use to us. After I let him go, Jessica told me what happened. She lost to Siwon. He wanted to make a deal with her if she wants to be free from him. They went to her place. He said that if she doesn’t sleep with me, he had her again. Just like last time.”

Yuri grasped her heart. It was unbelievable to hear what Yunho was saying. He sounded truthful, “What did she say?”

Yunho swallowed, “She refused. Siwon got mad & was about the her but I appeared.” He turn to look at Yuri’s shocked face, “You saw him. He was all bruised up. I should have tied him up but I was worried about Jessica then but she was alright.”

Yuri’s heart pumped. He sounded so caring for Jessica that he had even forgot about her. Did he sleep the whole night at Jessica’s place? “Where is she now?”

“Probably settling in the States now. She wants to get away from everything. Her life had been horrible to her since that day I married you.” He said silently.

Yuri looked down, “I’m sorry.” She didn’t know if he was saying that himself or Jessica had said it to him. Maybe it was his own words telling her that he wanted her out of his life. She had ruined his life & he had ruined her life until she found love for him.

“It doesn’t matter to her anymore. She’s away for good now.” A glitter of tear formed in his eyes but she didn’t see it.

“Will you miss her?” She asked him in a crying whisper.

He turned his head away from her again, & stared out into the busy street of Seoul. She might not want his answer but he didn’t want to lie to her, “Yes, I will.” He changed the subject, “Did he hurt you?”

Yuri’s heart quickened & she touched her cheeks. It was still on her. She could still feel the nasty touch, “He...He...no. No, he didn’t.” She bit down on her lips for lying to him.

Yunho squinted his eyes. She was lying to him. He could tell by the way that she acted. He walked over to her & held her by the shoulders. He didn’t want her to fall for him more & make her think that he loves her but she needed someone to comfort her. Besides, he couldn’t bare the thought of the man touching her. It makes his heart sick, “Did he touch you, Yuri? Tell me the truth.” He said in panic.

“No.”

“God, Yuri. Don’t lie to me. Did he touch you? I won’t be mad at you.” He pulled her into his arms & hugged her tightly. He buried his face into her hair.

She started to cry, “You weren’t there Oppa. You weren’t there. I was so scared. He was a monster. He...He touched my cheeks. I tried to rub it off but it’s still there. It’s permanent. Oh, god. Oppa.”

“Jesus. I should have killed him.” He said, “I’m so sorry, Yuri. So sorry. I should have been there to protect you.”

“I know you would have.” She cried.

“Here.” He pulled back & looked into her eyes, “If it would make you feel better, can I kiss you on the cheeks?” She smiled sadly, “If it would work, yes.”
