Like the palace, the garden was magnificent, filled with all types of exotic flowers she’d never seen or knew existed. Kris led her swiftly to a site where a pond was present with lily pads and pink flowers petals floating above the green waters.    There were also perfectly rounded stones surrounding the pond and a circle that stretched outwards of manicured trees and plants of all sorts of sizes.   If the familiar strips of memory whips weren’t floating around in the air, she would’ve stopped and marvelled over the beauty of the royal garden. The last few memory whips danced at the tips of a short Cherry Blossom tree.   “The last memory strips.” Kris whispered, looking admirably at the silver, translucent strands.   Chaeyoung took a deep breath. After all she did to him; there was nothing but hate to feel towards her.   While Kris carried her in his sturdy arms, the short walk was cut short when Chaeyoung heard Tao scream in pain. She perked up but Kris shook his head, “Don’t. I’ll deal with it.” He said, carefully placing her on the ground.   Chaeyoung wanted to reject but Kris just quietened her with a kiss to her cheek and running away in his golden wolf form.   Knowing she’ll get into trouble, Chaeyoung wanted to help too. She ignored her fatigued body and forced herself towards the palace. She heard something inside the luxurious building, like a child’s cry. She limped herself to the sound, letting her hand run along the walls to keep her up.   She didn’t know how many flights of stairs she ascended or descended, but she was so tired, she could feel her legs buckling fr
