Chaeyoung had tumbled victim to sleep once again.     She was overwhelmed with tiredness; she had automatically slipped into a slumber once Sehun left with the 3 words that caused her some bitter happiness.   Later in the evening, she heard the door creak open. 2 figures arrived, shuffling inaudibly into the room. She kept her eyes fastened, feigning sleep as she focused on their words.   She rapidly heard Tao’s voice and Kris’s non-stop susurrating in the night. It sounded like Kris was frustrated towards Tao.   “No you idiot, the other way.” Kris hissed. She could imagine him glaring animatedly at Tao. However, Tao made the ‘shushing’ sound; stomping towards her bedside and dumping some things on her bed that made it dip lower.   She heard Tao sigh heavily, “My angel is still asleep.”   “Grow up.” Kris snapped, “She’s strong, she’ll wake up soon.”   Tao exhaled again, “She’s in a coma Mr Dragon.” She then felt his fingers twirling her hair between his fingers. “She’ll probably be in this state for atleast 10 years.”   “S-she’ll make it.” Kris stuttered. He had tried to project his voice firmly, but it came out crippled, just like his undying fear for Chaeyoung.   “I hope so.” Tao sniffed softly, most likely shedding tears.   Chaeyoung frowned, her brows twitching vulnerably. She didn’t like how Tao wasted his tears on her. As her eyes opened, her room was dark and the outline of both Tao and Kris were evident with their familiar scents.    Tao stood hunched near her bedside, his palms covering his eyes while Kris was leaned against the wall, staring at the ceiling. She swore she witnessed a tear slip down his cheek and it broke her heart to see them being so miserable.   “You cry-baby.” Chaeyoung sat up, stretching her arms out above her head.   Quickly, the sniffles in the room stopped.   It was like slow motion how everything that happened passed.    Tao straightened his posture, uncovering his eyes, staring widely at her with glassy eyes, tears still streaming like a river down his face. Using his wolf speed, he dove onto her frail figure, pushing the two of them down onto her hospital bed.    He embraced her tightly, his body trembling in Chaeyoung’s arms. She felt his warm tears drenching her neck as he cried, sniffed and coughed all at once.   “Yuck Tao, get your snots off me!” She joked, trying to push him away lightly.   Tao refused to let her go; only hugging her closer than ever until her back arched back in an uncomfortable manner. “C-Chaeyoung. Y-Y-Y-Y-You m-m-m-mean-nie!” He sobbed loudly onto her shoulder.   Chaeyoung softened, a pretty smile curving at her lips. She reached up towards his dark hair and rubbed it tenderly. “I’m here Tao. It’s okay. It’s okay.” She whispered onto his hair, his locks.   Tao cried some more
