Chaeyoung was wide awake when the hand stopped at 5:00 AM on the clock. She was already showered and dressed, appearing as if she just hadn’t woken from a life-threatening coma.
Her blankets were folded as well as the machine that had been hooked up onto her wrists was neatly packed on their stands.
Dr Dae joined Chaeyoung the room, giving her a pitied look. “Are you sure you want to leave Ms?”
Chaeyoung faced him with determination running through her firm expression. “Of course.”
Dr Dae was reluctant to agree, but he did eventually. As long his patients were well and healthy, they were free to go. “Fine, but here are some pills you may need to take. You know, for the baby.” He smiled, handing her a plastic bag full of small containers.

Dr Dae placed a comforting hand on her arm, “You can do it.” He said encouragingly.
“I hope so.” Chaeyoung replied. “And thank-you for caring for me.”
Dr Dae just simply offered another of his kind grins.

Chaeyoung dug her face towards his neck, sighing almost quietly against him. “I’m just tired.”
She could imagine Tao giving her a worried look but she assured him again that she was perfectly fine.
When Tao pulled back, Kris decided it was time to grace everyone with his voice. “Where exactly are we going?” He asked, looking anywhere else but her. Chaeyoung noticed the big bag dangling from his shoulder.
“To continue the mission.” Chaeyoung said.
Kris was tempted to look her in the eyes but he forced himself to resume glaring at the innocent vase. “But you’re unwell.”
“I can do this.” She spoke, stubborn as usual.
Kris hesitated to scold her but the mission was important. If she was
