Silence.
Tao blinked his eyes and choked on his words.
His eyes rounded, revealing his perfect irises as he struggled to speak. “…You’re kidding.” He mumbled, biting his lip.
“I’m serious Tao. You’re that sixth noble. You’re the only reason why I came here. You are the core person of my mission.” She whispered, shifting over so she sat right beside him, the side of her thigh touching his. “You’re the sixth noble.” She repeated.
“H-How?” Tao stumbled on his words, clutching onto her arm. His eyes were wide and full of bafflement.
“Tao.” Chaeyoung breathed, lightly grabbing his hand and intertwining their fingers to comfort him. “You were already a noble but during the war of were-animals, you had lost your memories and your powerful presence.
Kris, he’s the leader of the nobles. He was the one that told me to find you, the missing noble so you can-“
“Wait.” He choked, “That is like me?”
“Tao.” Chaeyoung rolled her golden spheres, “He’s not an .”

“Of course not. You’re special Tao. The were-wolf race needs you.” Chaeyoung smiled angelically at the male. Tao tightened his grip on her soft fingers as he recalled all the things she had spoken of until now.
“Still…..that means I’ve been a fool while living. From that were-animal war to this day, it’s all been a ing lie.”
“Tao-“
“What if that’s not even my name?” He gasped, doubtful.
“Don’t be ridiculous.” Chaeyoung chided. “Tao is your real name whether you like it or not.”
His shoulders dropped at that, “But still Chae, what if I don’t want to go back? And where are my lost memories? What if I don’t want them back?”
“You’re overthinking.” Chaeyoung dead-panned. She pinched his cheeks and Tao yelped, slapping his empty hand over his abused cheek. “I’m being logical.” He pouted.
Chaeyoung laughed as she slouched her figure so she
